I really don't see why that has everyone's panties in a knot. It takes 5-10 seconds to put in.

In the long term its going to do very little to improve security, and just end up being a needless hurdle when trying to log in. Malware will be updated to catch that very soon if it hasn't been already, and people who would fall for phishing scams will likely get phished for their pin just as easily. The only thing I could possibly see this helping significantly with is for idiots creating accounts on dodgy RMT sites that use the information to attempt to hack their customers later on.
i find it annoying how theres no choice, allow people the option if they want the improved security. its just a needless hassle for those of us who dont really do much of anything to warrant getting hacked, but i guess its because they dont have an authenticator
Logged on after many months of not playing. Mixed feelings about the graceful level 45 set that has the same skin as platinum coins. Glad I got the body, but sad to see that they sell for so cheap meaning lots of people will probably look the same :[
Reaper/Grand Chieftain 40 skins are the best IMO.
As you may know, last Friday's patch made assassin's 2k DP unusable. I understand, shit happens, but why in the hell after 6 days including a weekly maintenance in that time has this not been fixed yet, or even an ETA on when we can expect a fix (besides "soon"). And no, do not try to tell me this skill sucks, it is one of our hardest hitting skills on a pretty short cooldown and includes a small self heal if you're an elyos.
I'd love to see all the QQ if it were something like boon of quickness magically breaking for a week or more while NC takes their time to fix it.
EDIT: I guess I really shouldn't be expecting much from them when, after 15 months, dredgions hitting kysis are still ineffective due to the pathing issue that prevents the commanders from reaching the guardian. Even if they want to ignore the pathing issue altogether they could just make them spawn in the basement with the other mobs there like miren.
I sent in a screen shot of Magic Boost's description, when used, showing decrease instead of increase and they haven't fixed it yet either O.o
That's his point
Hmmm not 100% sure how I feel about the trial rifting period their putting back into the game. If you haven't read it, basically for the next month they're going to greatly reduce the defensive buff from players in Morheim and such and remove it entirely from the next zone like Beluslan. I can't recall the names of the Elyos areas but whatever you get the idea. At the end of the trial they will send out a survey to see how everyone liked it all.
On the one hand I think they went too far with the previous nerf and killed rifting near 100% but on the other it gave people actual breathing room from level 20's being terrorized by level 40+. I rather enjoyed leveling my new main and seeing all of 3 Elyos the entire time, and all 3 of those were just trying to do quests and ran like hell at the sight of Asmos.
Trine even replied to it all saying she hopes players remember sportsmanship when rifting and all that. There is so rarely any sportsmanship it's stupid. While I have 0 problem with rifting in general, I just think it's abused heavily.
it's another case of NC forgetting who their players are. for every 1 sportsman there are 100 assholes.
I personally found one of Trine's replies hilarious. She starts out by saying she was one of those players before she joined NC that she lived in the enemy areas and got all the gear, it was a means to the end. But then goes on about how she saw how it effected other players and it upset her so she changed her ways, etc.
I was rank hunting elyos in Morheim on my glad. Ran across 2 pinks, think they about shit themselves. Ran right past them and the ranger tried to grav me. Turned around and asked him in Elyos "Do you really want to do that?"
They ran. On the plus side, found a whole party of 'Los with rank 5 and 6, so wiped em a couple times for quest. I was happy.
Enchanting to +15 really is a sick joke.
L101 stone + normal supplements on my flarestorm dagger failed going from +13 to +14.
The money loss doesn't bother me so much even though I am out nearly 300 mil from that, but enchantment stones that high are extremely difficult to come across regardless of how much money you have to throw away.
How high over do you have to go to plus eternal anyway? Figured it was 30'ish over.
I'd like to know that as well
The templar in my group was trying to enchant his SW shield, and failed with 4 L86 stones. None of them landed. My guess is that +35 would be the minimum you want to use, but that's purely a guess.
After +2 (got there with lowbie stones) on my flarestorm dagger, I used a total of 5 86s, 6 89s, and 5 90s with lesser supplements every time to get to 10. Failed 1 86, 1 89, and 2 90s.
Yeah.. I don't know enough about enchanting eternalsWhat did you use to enchant +11-13? I might try regular supplements if I ever get eternal weapon =/
Took me 4 90s + 2 89s with lesser supps to get to +12. Got to +13 with a 101 + normal supps, then failed +14 attempt with 101 + normal supps.
