    i thought he was asking how to save a gif to only show a still image instead of showing the whole animation. what i posted was a quick way to stop the animation.

    i posted several alabama related pics on a previous page, i know how to save images and use the IMG tags

    oooh, if you time it correctly you can just hit the escape button to stop an image loaded in your browser and hopefully stop the image on the frame you want. Just refresh the page to reset the animation and try again if you don't freeze on the frame you want. Then you can just screenshot the frame and paste it into an image editor like paint, and save, ect.
