If the funny was meant to be using the image in a macro, either of those things would actually served the purpose far better than simply quoting another part of the in-panel text.

We had two of those little ones like that at a lumberyard I worked at, and a big 30 foot boom one.

I stacked the little ones on top of each other one night (I was the night watchman, so I spent a lot of time teaching myself how to drive a forklift for fun).
