Really? I thought the dictionary was like you know a book of words and their definitions. I tried to look up skdfgauygd in there and it wasn't there, because it's not a word.

in trying to find a universal theory for all languages, the tentative definition for a word was defined as a "unit of language separated by spaces"

unfortunately this doesn't apply for inuktitut, which iirc mashes all the consecutive symbols for words together into a lengthy 'thought' or sentence, so the spaces definition doesn't work



tl;dr - a word is not defined as a word simply for its presence or absence in a dictionary, the definition is still being presided over by juries "greater" than us

It takes a while to warm up to.

I get uncomfortable in RL when people inform me I'm the funny guy, and that I should do stand up. I was first told this in grade 5 and didn't know the term 'stand up comedy'.

I've mentioned this before but I really don't think this would work as my humor is much more reactionary and situational, imo I need material to work with, to respond and react to, to make fun of and parody.

Or maybe I'm just fuckin lazy and cowardly.
