    I'm not normally one to start topics about my own flatulence, but lately the stuff that has been exiting my body has smelled foreign to me.

    It all depends on where they get their energy from and how it's processed. A more advanced civilization than ours would probably not fart as their bodies would not produce waste or give off gas when processing their energy source.
