Clearly this thread servers as proof that server transfers were the worst thing that Square Enix ever implemented for this game.

Very rarely does a good player server transfer, it's almost always douches that are looking to get away from their bad reputation on their server. The one exception being someone moving to play with a real life friend.

Back when Mercury first came to Phoenix I had an idea that consisted of setting up a site to collect PayPal donations in order to pay for a server transfer for every single one of their members in order to get them off of the server. I would have probably given them the extra money too since I'm sure there would have been plenty. But alas, the logistics of such an endeavor would be troublesome as, for one, people would cast doubt on my honesty and, for two, people probably wouldn't trust the people of Mercury to use the money to actually leave the server. Everyone I pitched the idea too thought it was a brilliant and would have happily paid $1-5 to be rid of the pestilence that was known as Mercury.

I'd be willing to bet the outpouring of support would be the same or higher if it would lead to getting Haze and Volume off of the server because then Phoenix would be fun again :I .

Honestly, Izzy and Helm, no matter how much their replies are getting bashed, are the only ones making sense in this thread.

It's extremely amusing, yet disturbing, that skill is measured as follows:
- we claim more than you because our bot is better
- your aegis PLD dies more than our aegis PLD
- we can pay our members more money because we are better at botting

Agreed, I've had my share of issues with leaders from both Haze and Volume, even going so far as Chopchop standing in whitegate shouting "Akisu and Helm sucks" for 2+ hours while having his members beg us to get on their vent server to "talk" things out, all the while Nexen is asking me and my officer if we'll "ally up against the evil Volume" (meanwhile his officers?? are spewing mass trash-talk at any kind of HNM camp) which is shortly followed up by insulting posts on both of their websites. Hey, I've even had Mr.Chop send me death threats in tell because one of my officers asked his "girlfriend" (or whatever Kiani is) why they tried to steal a KB from us.

And I won't deny I've fought back against you guys plenty, but after a week or so it just became to humorous to combat anymore. (If any one's interested in seeing what I mean, check out the small collection of SS's on our forums from these guys under the General Discussion area on our website, open to the public to view. Just a few, but that's about 1/10th of our amusing collection.) But hey, I've had everything from E-Thug threats, to real life threats from some of these guys, I've had their ex-members come to me and my shell, and tell us all about how you guys bot, cheat, even go so far as to purchase currency/gil/accounts with pay-pal accounts, then close them before the money is taken out, therefore stealing whatever purchased items/etc you guys get. You can use the argument you're stealing from RMT, but from what I've heard, you guys RMT a lot yourselves. In-fact, the web-site's owner for Volume- and quite a few of their member's email addresses are also posted everywhere on a popular RMT player based websites, selling and buying accounts. Just google it after running a who-is or checking their profiles, if you want to check for yourselves. I've also heard from your ex-members you completely slant your gilsplits, new guys with perfect attendance end up with nothing, and leaders end up with double cuts, or more. Chopchop, and Nexen, to both of you, you've both said "We aren't anything like MercX." Seems like you're developing into them quite nicely.

But, I suppose it really boils down to "who cares" for any of the non-phoenix residents. You're perfectly fine in not caring, it doesn't really involve you guys, and I'm not entirely sure why Nexen decided to post here anyway; especially with the other "LOOK AT ME!" Haze vs. Volume threads around. But if you're actually interested in trying to understand why 9/10 non-Haze, or non-Volume members would like these guys booted off the server, read the next few paragraphs.

These guys have a goal to ruin the game for anyone else around them, and I'm fairly sure just reading back through the 8 pages of this, seeing everyone from outside the server posting "I want my 5 minutes of life back", etc etc, that you can understand why it's so mind numbing to actually deal with these guys on a daily basis; shouting in whitegate, shouting at HNM camps, massive trash talk tells from both sets of players, and their mules, MPK attempts, and everything else. Volume for instance; I haven't really seen any reference about it here yet, so I'll make one. Your shell broke not a month ago. You had to reform. A few days before you actually did that, your fearless leader Neilperry happened to MT in say about a new bot you guys were playing with. I also seem to remember you guys getting your face rocked by Lambton Worm 20 minutes later because he was whisked away to GM jail mid-fight, then you guys rushing out to the title NPC in the [S] cities to change it to the HQ worm title(lulz). Speaking of, I know he bought a new account, what's his new name, if you don't mind me asking; it's so hard to keep track anymore. Speaking of, anyone who actually takes note should be intrigued by the mass vanishings and mass amounts of new Volume members that materialize out of no-where consistently. (Your ex-members claim this is because you actually get banned quite often, and someone in your LS loves to buy accounts; and many seem to quit because they're also afraid of getting banned with you. Or you kick them because they refuse to actually run a bot themselves.) I've personally watched, with a large chunk of my LS there as well, Volume "mules" POS hacking around Sandworm instead of kiting it, because you guys don't know how to actually kite it and hold hate; I've also seen a GM swoop in that very same day and smack your mule strait into jail, and then see Haze take it from Volume.

You brag about your bots, both in game and out, shouting we "suck" all over. Why? Because you guys can't stand the fact that we just plain don't bot. Heck, I don't even use windower with all the fancy recasts, shadow counters, distance and whatever other plugins everyone gets, but I can still tank better than your relic paladins on my ninja. Sure, the bots/hacks/etc give you an advantage by far, you guys can be off AFK doing whatever in real life, and still manage to stun claim that KB before it physically spawns 13' behind you. Does that make you more skilled? No way, quite the opposite, lol. I remember for that few weeks after the last update that broke all of your bots, both Haze and Volume, it leveled the playing field for a few weeks, and you guys couldn't stand it. I think the trash talking shot up 10 fold for those few weeks while our shell, and the other guys were claiming "your" mobs.

The constant barrage of fake applications on my website, even hack attempts on my website; which by the way, sorry, I can match your IP addresses to registered accounts you actually made on the site; and forward them along to the abuse line at your ISP's... durhur. It's almost like you guys don't have anything better to do...oh wait. And what's with the player sharing? There's been more Volume <> Haze player swaps then I can keep track of, it's almost like you two are sharing members. Is all this drama seriously some kind of big joke for you guys? Doing it for the lulz? Come on now, really.

The easiest solution by far for anyone on this server, is to toss them on blacklist. Seriously, there should be a sign somewhere for any of the new guys that come here, "<<< Welcome to Phoenix >>> Please blacklist: (names) to fully enjoy your stay."

I've also gotta comment on the other posts about server transfers and some other things. Not everyone who transfers is a total moron. Just like not everyone who transfers is an awesome person. I know plenty of server hoppers who are great people; transferred for one reason or another that's legit. "Oh hey, I met some people in real life that play on this other server, going to go there to be with my real life friends." seems to be a popular choice. Also- the talk of bots/hacks sickens me. You really think who has the better bots makes you a better player? 5 years ago I remember when people were afraid to talk about using Windower, or god forbid, some kind of app to let you type in Japanese without the JP client. Then Argus came along, and anyone found out to use it was blackballed by... pretty much everyone. Now a lot of people, go around freely bragging/talking about running bots. I truly hope you get each and every one of your accounts banned, and lose all of your time and effort (if you can call AFK claiming effort) put into this game. The game's a game, supposed to be fun, challenge to claim/kill HNMs, or wait and see if the other guys can or not; not supposed to be a trash-talk fest reminiscent of playing Halo on XBL after all the 14 year olds are supposed to be in bed and are playing online instead.

And in response to Fallingsun; I seem to remember you going around claiming to everyone you were an officer in my linkshell (without ever even having a pearl first...) and trying to spread stuff about us too, after we shot you down for being... well, frankly, you're a DB, and that's a whole separate issue in it's own right.

So; in closing, I apologize for the text block, and to you non-phoenix players, just hope you understand we're not all ... how did Chop put it... "retarts" like you've seen for the last ...what's it on now... 8-9 pages?... To be perfectly honest, I don't mind if anyone decides to take a negative stance on my LS, we do our events, and keep to our schedule; we even go so far as to follow the Dynamisbums.com calendar for Phoenix server (which surprisingly, 90% of LS's on our server follow) that Haze and Volume said "Screw you guys." to and have been running around zone-jacking dynamis zones for each other just to piss each other off, as well as other LS's they just don't care for very much.

I'm just organizing my oppinions and experiences with these guys, giving it a voice, and letting the "outside world" of other servers try to understand what me, my linkshell, and my friends have to put up with on a daily basis; since pulling facts out of the Haze vs. Volume e-peen wagging contest is as easy as giving a crocodile a root canal.

Actually, I told everyone "Don't party with Haze or Volume." Mainly because we just don't care much for you or most of your members, due to past conflicts with them, and the responce I got from my linkshell was largely in agreement.... infact it was unanimous. And, for having no issues with my linkshell, I've got some amusing screenshots of not-so-nice things you've personally said about myself, my linkshell, and my friends here. So as far as "grudges," yeah. They're there; anything short of an apology to myself and my members won't make that go away.

You guys seem to be living in a fantasy world where you think people like you. Sorry, this isn't the case for most.

You can complain about my officer's all you want, but when most of their arguments for "grudges" come from things like... us camping Aspi, not saying anything to you guys, and you (specificly.) and your LS, along with Volume just start laying into us in say/shout, and into each other in say/shout, which is rather annoying. We play to have fun and to camp HNM when we can, not to sit around and pretend we're e-thugs. Sorry, we won't play that game. If that means us not even partying with you guys, then maybe you guys should re-think your actions before you start to complain about the behavior of my officers.

My LS has a strict set of rules when we camp HNM, we opperate on a strike system. Some things are more serious than others; one of the main rules we have is no trash-talk at HNM camps; and no negative interaction with any other shells. We treat everyone else with the respect we expect to recieve in return, and odds are, if myself or my officers have snapped off at you, you've done something serious enough to deserve it, and we're letting you know how much we dissaprove of your immaturity.

You must have been mistakenme for someone else, there were a lot of Falling******* on Phoenix, I was in MercX - Diabolos, quit ffxi a couple weeks before they switched to phoenix, then I came back around Aprilish? and left server May 26th.

I left my accounts to Fallinghorizon (he changed my name to fallingsun) when he moved to phoenix with merc
Only ties I had with glorious was I knew someone in there, cant think of who..
