    1. Nice Eva / religious reference

    2. Losing to a Jamarcus Russell QB'd team is equivalent to losing to an elementary school team. Any team can beat Philly after that debacle (which cost me $850)

Edit - Honestly, Jamarcus Russell may be worse than Ryan Leaf? Why doesn't this get more attention than it does?

Neither of the mannings are throwing 70 yards from the knees or running fast 40 times, they are just smart. Montana wasn't the biggest arm. Just made good decisions. When I think of smart QB's I think of Montana, Manning, Brady. Not to many qb's that one would call "physically gifted" are in the hall of fame.
^ this. A thousand times *THIS*. Elway is probably the most physically gifted QB in the HoF, but he generally played very smart football, as well. The QB position is far more about leading your team than it is about throwing a ball through a brick wall. Primum non nocere.

    1. Thanks! :D

    2. That's why I think they're giving Campbell the start against the Eagles. If J. Russell can do it so can you!

    3. Again not until he throws some awesome grown ass man temper tantrums. He is a terrible QB but what makes Ryan Leaf the man he is was the epic shit he did off the field.

Edit: 3 is regarding the attention or lack thereof.

It still blows my mind that Elway's career QB rating is less than 80, especially when his career mark would make him the 25th rated QB this season.

I think the game was a failure, but not on the defensive side of the ball. The Eagles Defense has a goal of keeping their opponents to < 17 points a game, and they did that.

The failure in that game came from Andy Reid mismanaging the game, being a horrible game time coach and making changes to his game plan.

He looked at the Raiders as a team that was terrible in the pass rush and developed his game plan around throwing against them. He panicked and didn't change his game plan once Peters went out and they put in King Dunlap. It's ridiculously easy to runblock compared to pass protect in five-seven step pass plays, not to mention most of the plays were vertical.

Plain and simple, the coaching and offense lost that game for them, JaMarcus Russell didn't win it.

I don't care if you lose against Jamarcus Russell on special teams, offense, or defense....if you lost to a JR team, you lost to JR.

    ^ Hell yeah.

Also, I was curious on my older Kyle Orton posts before BG moved to a different server and I found this elated post from when he replaced Sexy Rexy and took over the starting job in Chicago. Too bad a lot of the other posts got nuked when BG moved QQ

Should also be noted that one of those QBs have a WR named Brandon Marshall as the leading guy, while the other guy has a guy named Johnny Knox. Just sayin'.

Hey don't fault Knox just because he doesn't have a beast of a QB like Orton throwing to him to make him look good. Cutler has his shortcomings but he's a decent QB.

It'd be the same deal if they called it the dallas/carolina trolling thread.
