quick question to those who did the Intel Retail Edge 2009 program

i already got my i7 920 and vista 64 ultimate for about 120 bucks already, but i just got an email saying that they're going to send in the windows 7 to my house. i thought it was an upgrade voucher? im any case, i did some research and i couldnt find an answer, but does anyone know what version of 7 we are getting? im assuming that since its free, its going to be the shitty home edition. ;

They changed it months ago I think in like July stating that instead of sending us a voucher, they'd just send us the OEM disc. It's on the Retail Edge's Big Deal forum.

OEM is usually better than the standard disc's sold at best buy or whatever right? like the home edition/prof/ultimate etc?

Only can participate if you work @ a retail chain that sells Intel products like Best Buy, Microcenter, Fryes, etc.

I saw after looking it up :3 but if I had known about it months ago, I'd probably be working at one of those places by now lol, been lazy. I mean I wouldn't be working there JUST because of the program, but it would've pushed me over the edge

Unless you actually know stuff about computers, then they wouldn't hire you. I swear places like best buy purposely hire idiots.

Hopefully it will come before the 22nd, though I'm already running RC, and I've already got my $10 copy of Ultimate from ExpertZone :D (And that Houseparty copy )
