Aspirations for Aion BG

I'm not sure exactly what to say here, but I thought I would make a post about this as it is becoming somewhat more official, or rather, I'm putting more effort into this now. For awhile now, I have hoped that BG would become what it is for FFXI, for Aion (serious endgame disucssion and groundbreaking discoveries). I've had several people say to me when BG is mentioned that they hope for this as well, and I would like to provide the opportunity for it to be.

Of course, I can't just make this happen over night, and you can't just get lots of people to come to this site. I'm sure also a lot of the browsers here do not care if it does or not, but its just a simple request to mention BG to your Aion buddies, or if you happen to be doing any sort of testing, to post it here and link back to it.

Currently there are no sites I have heard of that have accomplished any sort of serious forum, but I'm sure there are lots of them out there. And I personally cannot stand Aionsource. But I think we have a good base to build off of. Feel free to voice your opinion, as thats why I made this thread, even thought I feel somewhat silly for doing this in the first place lol I'm always welcome to suggestions or anything.

What does our legion have to do with THIS forum? Our side of BG hasn't been affiliated with these forums since the split 3 years ago. We just simply invited a few of the people from here.

Pretty much this. My only concern is a flood of "younger" people who spam useless shit because from what I can see Aion has inherited more of its population from WoW than FFXI. I'm all for the idea and that's what i really hoped this would turn into, though the game as it is now seems a lot more straight forward than FFXI though I'm sure discoveries will be made. Hope that made sense I just woke up ~.~

I'll spread the word, but Excellence is mainly a FFXI LS and they have their own forum, as well as browse BG. BG needs to take over more Forts to spread the word, just change the cape animation to give this website =p

This was just explained a few posts up.. Blue Garter in Aion is not the same Blue Gartr of this forum. It will be confusing for the people in game, and I'll probably make a notice of this somewhere in the future.

Well my plan at the moment regarding that is to have two seperate sections of the Aion section, I guess pretty much exactly how FFXI was setup. One for advanced discussion and one for general chat and small questions (pretty much just keep this forum we're talking in now how it is right now)

Of course, BG will still be BG, and I will not baby the forums like other ones do. If someone is an idiot, I hope that BG will do what its known for and tell them to get the fuck out. I'm not going to filter your chat or lock threads because an argument happened lol

BG has always been like this.. I'd say the FFXI section has gotten friendlier since FFXI isn't as popular as it used to be, or there really isn't any good drama or interesting findings anymore. But the forums were known for that attitude for awhile
