Aspirations for Aion BG

i'm all for this. it's kinda funny but i seem to refer to BG alot of times when i'm having an intelligent chat with people in Aion about games in general.
I'm already hating the whole process of filtering out the good and bad Aion forums. I'd love to keep checking BG for anything i need to know about the game.

FFXIV doesn't have mods as far as i know, and i'm sure fali would be this section Mod and she's knows what to delete as "stupid shit"

As simple as this Aion BG forum seems, its already extremely advanced compared to....o i dunno lets say Aionsource.com forums. that place is the second biggest circle-jerks of retards i have come across, of course BG takes first though...

If forum users here consistently offer up good info then eventually others will join if they like what they see. Aionsource is obviously Aion's KI. Full of internet meme spewing teenage nobodies.

Yeap, back when AS was the top LS (even beat all JPs to Tiamat/etc). The old ascendantsky.com was kind of used as a BG type forum back then. I remember GameOver (I think was the name?) linkshell and a bunch of the other best ones at that time used our forums before we all started using BG.

Eternalsin, Raph, Donatelo, Muko, Fhenrir, Xxaphon, Xxeveryone else, Mikey, Nuriko, myself, etc etc etc...man, FFXI was awesome during that time period. That cast of crew was unstoppable back then. Not sure about Muko/Nuriko, but most of us all played FFXI JP Beta together on Ps2.

I remember seeing you, a Mithra in Noble's Tunic, and I was like, "I WANT THOSE HEALS!!!"

Im thinking a specific thread of each job, or sub forum for each class would help alot, especially when the game is fresh and people may want pointers on certain aspects of different classes.

or maybe itll creat too much clutter, idk.

I don't like the idea of creating separate class sections since it spreads everything too much. To start off with, its enough asking of the admins to create even one sub-forum for the Aion section since we don't have a huge amount of traffic as it is. I'm actually waiting on that sub-forum currently.

It doesn't get that much traffic because most of us are too busy in the game.

Job-specific threads would do fine, I think. Whomever starts them could probably link in the OP to various topics that come up within the thread as it progresses.

As long as you don't turn into EJ is all I have to say. I love seeing infractions for posts that are great and have merit, and seeing old beat down questions be rehashed and not being infracted.
