Cliff note version - Download the Vista version of POL, your good to go.

is this a new version of playonline? i would guess it isn't due to there not being a version update for everyone

It's the version of POL designed to work with Windows Vista. Basically install that and you should have no problems with POL/FFXI it on Win7.

Im more concerned about windower support, thats the one thing keeping me from hitting the Windows 7 when the computer boots up and not the Previous Versions of Windows.

Once thats sorted out properly and a nice pretty installer made, Ill be making the switch to sexy7
