    reverting a regedit change

hey folks. i recently changed around my settings to get a lower latency in wow by following this video:

    YouTube - Increase Gaming Connection

and now i realized it makes streaming videos painfully slow, so i'd like to reverse it. Can anyone give me instructions on how to reverse the damage and get my computer to the way it was? I'm on vista. Thank you!

Follow the same instructions, but delete the key named TcpAckFrequency instead of creating it.

Also, if you don't know the exact reason why something does NOT have a user-friendly way to tweak it, you shouldn't be tweaking it.

i deleted the key, but the changes are still there. could it be because of the value change he has you do?

first, NEVER EVER EVER CHANGE SETTINGS IN THE REGISTRY WITHOUT BACKING UP FIRST

2nd have you reset your connection again? if not you need to do that for the deleted key to take effect.
