Well, it is a rebuilding year, but UNC will still be good and make the tournament barring epic injuries. It's bold for a dook fan to talk smack considering the epic fails dook has accomplished the last few years. They look good so far, but hey, they always do at this point in the year. It's only March (and April) that really matter.

Damn, thought UGA had enough in the tank to topple Kentucky. We fell just short, but Mark Fox definately has the program in the right direction when we can play kentucky close for 38 minutes and lead for much of that time.

Good start in Big 10 play for Michigan State too. Izzo doesn't like some of the lack of spriit in the team right now, and thats perfect because some of these guys are young, and Izzo WILL have them ready come tourney time if hes seeing problems right now.

I'm a spaz, posted this in the footbal forum first.

The Pac 10 is an incredible mess right now. Every team except one is between 2-1 and 1-2. Oregon State loses Wednesday at home to Seattle by 51, then comes back and beats Oregon in Eugene. The same Oregon team who was the last undefeated team in conference standings.

The one Pac-10 team that's not 2-1, 2-2, or 1-2? Washington, who is 1-3, and the only ranked team in the Pac 10 (sure to change this week). There's at least some chance that USC will win the Pac 10 tourney and the Pac 10 will get zero bids in the NCAA tournament... more than one at this point seems unlikely.

Coaches' Poll just came out; zero Pac-10 teams even receiving votes.

True, dook has been the better team the last 5 years, what with its 2 titles, 3 final fours, and bringing in the top recruit next year.
