I have not seen a crowd will a team to win as much as Illinois's Orange Crush did tonight. Disappointing loss for MSU, and one we really should/could/would have won. 7/10 for 3's from that Illinois guy was just sickening. Almost need to take both from Purdue now without question unless Wisconsin drops one.

However, Stegeman was so loud tonight, and I got last second tickets to the game and got to watch UGA finally get its second SEC win in impressive fashion against Vandy. Got a nice run middle second half and kept Vandy at arms length the rest of the way.

Also, stay classy Illinois...this wasnt a big enough win to rush the court for.

I know i know, we still have a 1 game lead and Wisconsin has as tough a time over the next 5-6 games as MSU does though. So thats 2 games youll have to beat us by in the next stretch of 6. Still a high mountain to climb, but indeed much more do-able.

I'll put my bet in today on Northwestern making the Tournament for the first time ever. They should go 6-2 with their remaining schedule. (for 22 wins going into the Big Ten Tournament) They likely will be favored in 7 of the 8, but I figure they will split their two toss-up road games.

they will for sure make it, they have a better team than last year. big ten is going to represent pretty amazingly and ill be cheering for every single one of them (except michigan and people against mich state)

nah. we got robbed pretty badly versus illinois. i don't like to say that refs help a lot of times in games but this one it was very obvious when they whistle for a foul and count a basket when he didn't shoot until 3 seconds after the whistle. or when they called 2-3 charges in a row in the first half when the illini were clearly shuffling their feet and not planted.

wisconsin we got rocked fair and square, though. ill give them that much.

I think ESPN should pick a different name than "Rivalry Week" for this week. Most of these games are important games between top teams from each conference, but only Duke/Carolina seems to be a traditional rivalry game.
