Kyo, it's going to be a fun year with no expectations. We have glaring weaknesses at PG and outside shooting. But I think this will be like 2006, where we take some hits early on (we've got sure losses coming against Kentucky, MSU and Texas - that's right, we play 3 of the top 4 teams before January), but peak towards the end of the year.

I think we'll loose the MSU game for sure, but Texas and Kentucky im not so sure about, were so strong inside right now those two are going to have a hard time with our bigs. But yeah its pretty rough playing 3/5 top 5 teams early on in the season. I think its good though early tests like those always strengthen your team and let the underclassmen get an early taste of march madness.

I actually feel bad for only paying attention so much this offseason, but who did we replace Suton with?

I think he meant Watts, unless he's referring to John Wall, which the OTHER school in Kentucky bought.

Also, Mizzou should be pretty strong again this season, a lot of returning talent and another good recruiting class for Mike Anderson.

Derrick Nix or Garrick Sherman are our freshman centers, but I don't think they're gonna start lol. I'm sure Izzo would rather have Roe in there with Green.

AFAIK the starting line up is: Lucas, Summers, Morgan, Roe, Geen. IF Raymar can stop sucking and live up to his hype I don't think we'll have to worry much. Roe and Green will just be improving as the season progresses so we should be okay.

Tarheels just signed/commited Reggie Bullock and Kendall Marshall, two top 20 ESPN recruits. We'll be weak at guard this year but with these two we should be very solid next year.

Waiting to see who Barnes chooses to sign with next year, will know in a few his announcement is on ESPN U which I dont get.

UConn was looking sorta shaky at the start of their game but obviously bounced back. They don't look like the powerhouse they were with Thabeet.

Tomorrow's Tip off marathon is gonna be fun, glad that basketball is back.
