Won't matter, Tennessee will be losing today.
Won't matter, Tennessee will be losing today.
The Big East Tournament is great after you get out of the boring first 2 rounds.
And Tennessee has to stick around and beat UK again in the Tourney so I can be happy and spread much love through facebook.
I'd rather not look at shit like this:

Yes, because clearly UL is NIT bound. I swear they have no idea what happens outside of their little bubble that is the SEC.
I can just look at that profile picture and know that guy is going to post annoying things.
Also, go Gtown
Gtown doin work, looks like Onuaku just fucked up his knee.
It won't let me watch the game at work on ESPN360 because I don't have remote access enabled from home. god dammit.
Monroe is beasting, this is an excellent game.
That was a good game. Onuaku going out hurt alot.
Yeah I think G'town would trade two reg season losses for a conf tourney win every year if they can.
Looks like we'll have 5 teams looking for 2 slots in the one-seed.
Syracuse
West Virginia
Ohio State
Duke
Purdue
I'd probably give the nod to Syracuse and Duke, but if WVU wins the Big East tourney, I'd take them over Duke and Syracuse.
If WVU, Duke, and Purdue all win heir conference tourney's, I'd take WVU and Purdue.
I can't imagine Syracuse falls out of the 1-seed line, barring two of Duke, WVU, Purdue or Ohio State rampaging through their tournaments, winning every game by 30.
I think Purdue will have to look very impressive against MSU and Ohio State (or Wisc) to have any shot at a #1 seed. I don't think they can pass Duke or West Virginia if either one of them wins their tourney. I think Hummell's injury turns them from a #1 seed favorite to a low #2 seed. If they look bad in the tourney, I could easily see them falling to a #3.
I'm even more afraid that the committee could royally screw them with a 4 or a 5. I think an opening round BTT loss gives them a 4, 1 win gives them a 3, making the final gets them a 2, and winning the final does nothing since the committee admitted last year that they were done with the brackets before Purdue won the Big Ten Tournament Title Game.
Might be different this year, though, since Purdue's post-Hummell body of work is pretty small. Let's say Michigan State loses to Penn State or Minnesota in their game, and Purdue gets to the Big 10 final by beating Northwestern and Penn State. A final game against Wisconsin or Ohio State could tell a lot about the team, and have a much larger impact.
Btw, Marquette up by 3 on Villanova with 31 seconds to go. Another highly ranked Big East team about to go down, perhaps. If that holds, that's probably good for Purdue, though, should keep Villanova behind them on the S-curve, no matter what happens.
EDIT: Arizona loses in the Pac-10 tourney, I think it's safe to say their streak of 25 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances is over. North Carolina's all-time streak of 27 appearances appears to be safe, for a few more years at least. Your new leader is Kansas, who will hit 21 this year.
Fucking Arizona just sit down and lose already. Stop fouling on every fucking inbounds pass then taking 30 seconds to make a goddamn layup.
Incoming last possession for UC.
\Nevermind.
LOL. Fucking owned. The Butler did it.
I suppose beating a team that was shooting under 30% from the field on a miracle 3 is owning.
But whatevs
It is considering how that final possession went.
I guess owning means anything.
