Holy shit. That is just insane. I'm trying to get my friends to come out of the abyss more often since, well, 25-30 just makes you an easy target and I'd rather be more productive, ha.
Nearly 600 attack, jesus tittyfucking christ...
I would really hate to get hit by that guy...
343 at 32. I don't have much of any attack socketed. Still focused on crit (307).
Wait, wait.
Why the hell are you looking to use dual swords? Mainhand a dagger, you get 50 more crit for doing so and you're gonna be critting your offhand, anyway. You're gonna hit 440 crit sooner, that way, which makes DW even more viable early on.

1st is DW, mainhand dagger, 2nd is Hannet's Gsword. There's very little need to do intensive parsing, seeing as Aion's damage calculation is ridiculously simple, as it is and these weapons have very low spread, so it'll only make a difference of 20-40 points, give or take.

You don't need attack speed on your weapons for the stigma to be viable. The only time it comes into play is if you're sacrificing a 2hander that has it for two weapons that don't; even then, with enough attack, 20% on a 2h doesn't mean much, because it's still ~1.55 speed vs ~1.92(gsword)/~2.24(polearm) and your aa crits are still going to be higher than some of the 2h skills.
Picked up Slaughter I stigma today for 1.3m. Here's hoping I didn't over pay for it.
I'm at 32 right now and am saving up for Unwavering Devotion. I'm hoping to see it on the cheap before I get close to 37, but those expert adamantium gauntlets tempt me so very much.
Anyone's opinion's on Stigma builds for 50? PvE or PvP, or Hybrid ones?
Page 2 go.
Is what I'm thinking for a group PvP build, input?
Edit:
Also, have people considered Gswd vs Polearm from L50 Daeva Weapon quest? Think I've decided for Gswrd, but could be swayed to Polearm if someone makes a good argument.

I don't think I'd do the SDB setup myself. And you call it a PvP setup without Slaughter? wtfmate
I'll have to think about it more but I need Slaughter and UD, after that it's all just nice to have
Damnit, forgot Slaughter, lol.
Also killed a 50 Sin this evening, /flex

For another idea at a Stigma build for 50: http://www.aionarmory.com/stigmaCalc...67:244:248:245
Swap UD for Draining Blow and that's my planned build. Swap drain for shatter wave during forts.
I have been doing DW since lvl 43 and i have to admit i regret my choice, should taken the Betoni Spear over the Sword. Ive been doing 2 Swords since i was reaching 440ish crit anyways and was worried about the Skills dmg being too low.
I liked it at first but once my other Glad friend got Precision Cut and does 4k on mobs and i do 1k with Sharp Strike or when we AoE farm Draupnir cuz our CC Sorc isnt here I start wishing i had picked Polearm lol. I also hate how DW is great for PVE but if you get into a PVP situation its horrible since you barely knock down any1 cept on chain.
god thank you, seeing way too many bad glads in game and in here trying to defend dual wield. If you wanted to Dual wield and do real damage: you should have been an assassin.
needz more gladiators who can tank mobs and not get face stomped. got a 42glad who runs with us who tanks middle and lower deck steelrake with only 5 members (1 healer only) like to see some people accually try this instead of always hiding and begging for templars only.
My Glad is only 30 but I've tanked every TG run I did 25-30 with no problem at all. I know it's a lowbie instance but I don't see it being a problem at all as long as I keep my gear updated. Glads get tons of parries which reduces damage, I just wish people would wise up. I love seeing groups standing around waiting for templars for an hour after telling me I couldn't tank for them, and I find a smarter group and actually get things done.
Really looking forward to level 35 though. Will be running around with 33% attack speed <3
Also the whole "omg Elyos gets ______" stuff gets really old. The only thing people complain about is that damn mob.
Gear gets replaced, things such as Boon of Quickness which is Asmo only, do not.
Since you're all Gladiators, here's a comparision for you, compare Shattering Wave and Piercing Rupture. Shit isn't always fair and even, but sitting around complaining that Elyos gets better everything, or Asmodians get better everything is a little silly.
Don't make excuses, take what's given to you and make the best of it.
Zapiel's Spear is the best spear in the game for pvp actually. It's not replaceable.
And there's stuff on Asmo side that's the best in the game for PvP and won't be replaced. You never know what's going to be added to the game in the future. Both sides have advantages, I just think it's silly to complain when everything isnt balanced on either side.
Elyos Gladiators get the currently best PvP polearm in the game.
Asmo Sorcerers gets the best PvP stigma in the game.
Asmo Gladiators get a better AoE stigma than Elyos.
Elyos Spiritmasters get arguably a better PvP Special Summon.
List goes on and on...
On an on gladiator note though. I'm probably going to try out Dual wield at 32 when I get Hannets and Inferno for shits and giggles, because once I hit 35 I'll be polearm forever. 2H with attack speed kills so fast and never gets hit because of KDs, it's so good.
best weapon progression? Currently using a wanderer's spear at lv24 and was wondering when the next few upgrades will be. obviously im trying to get NTCSpear but only seen it drop once and i was on my temp at the time. :/
I'm personally not a fan of spears, but I can understand how some might be with their native crit boosts.
On the Great Sword end, I didn't do anything particularly extravagant. Think I used a green I got off the AH at 24, then jumped to the Gaia Greatsword you can get from an Eltnen campaign. After that I got Hannet's Greatsword and totally wore out its usefulness while trying to find another. Today I finally saw a Kunpapa's Greatsword on AH for 2.7m and snagged that sucker right up. Sure, I could've tried to slog through Xenophon's quest with PUGs for a "free" spear, but at this point I figure I'll just extract it and either sell the stones or put them into my current/next weapon.
But back to spears, I guess you could try for the NTC one, but I'd imagine a decent one could be crafted until you can try for Kromede's. Naturally Xenophon's would be the next step, but couldn't tell you what's good 45+.
