What the hell is Assault Posture? I hear people talking about it but have never heard of it and can't find any info on it.
Good question. Perhaps that was the 4k DP move you get at 50's original name, but we got it Zikel's Threat and Blessing of Nezekan instead.
I still see people creaming themselves over Slaughter, even though backtracking this thread has Veyron talking about it a little. I've tried to comment that the added damage comes out to more like 10-12% due to where it calculates, but most are like "Nuh-uh!" and randomly claim their Precision Cuts went from 2000 to 2500. Is it possible they've tweaked it in an update?
Berserking, it was renamed a patch or 2 ago, one of the Adv. stigma's you buy with AP.
And tell people that do "500 more dmg" by eyeballing to do 500 of them on players, say in the Arena in each faction's main city, then come back with real results instead of doing a few and being like "OMAHLAWD MAH CUTZ ARE OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ONE!!!!!!1!"
Ps. got Grogget's Dagger for a lulzy DW weapon last night.
completely off topic but found this person today, veyron:

(This was the only thread I could find that you recently posted in lol)
Nah, I joined them in live, didn`t play C-aion :/ lol
So I decided to break my gladiator out of storage since I hit 50 chanter. I got it to 45 today and finally can slot precision cut. I also picked up Slaughter and Draining Blow for under 3 mil (so glad I waited). I really need gear upgrades though. At 47/48 I can upgrade my accessories via non expert handicrafting, but where I really need work is body and weapons.
Right now I'm using the 35 gold attack speed polearm. I've been trying to enchant it, but it cost me 2 mil to go 3/10 today and I cursed the high heavens. I'd really like to get it to plus +10 (making it at least comparable with weapons my level that are unenchanted). I have a friend with expert weaponsmithing, but he doesn't have the orichalcum greatsword or the attack speed 40 ballic great sword recipe. Should I keep working on my polearm? Should I hold out for gold attack speed weapons for dual wield or would blue be an improvement? He has the recipe for both the expert durable adamantium sword, and orichalcum dagger.
I also wanted to know if the 1k coin body piece would be worth investing in. And how early can you get it?
So many questions for gladiator with 1.9 coming.
Level 45 on plat items, figure cost is at least 15m for the gold armor. Not worth it, personally.
As for your weapon, you're probably technically better off than those with Xeno. I'd say to hold onto your gold and if you haven't done the Xeno quest already, fuse your current to that after update. I've also been having trouble getting equipment upgrades via the AH as either people are wanting 10m+ for things I could use, or I can't find the Expert Ori GS design to get a legionmate to hook me up.
In my opinion, gear progression in the 40s is horrible. Maybe the drop rate increases will make SR a bit better, and in turn, having a few of those set pieces on people will be more likely, but aside from Xeno and maybe the Expert GS, there's not a whole lot out there in terms of weapon upgrades until 50, either. I can't really include Zapiel stuff since that's just an RMT/Asshole hotbed.
Personally hoping Theo Labs is more worth doing. Snagging an extendable GS then something to put on that is probably one of my priorities. Still need to do the HHoM synth on my Miragent's, but I've also been waiting on 1.9 there for various reasons.
glad grind is booooooooooring as hell, also i cant afford any atkspd+ weapons, so im dualwielding Inferno/DaevaSword... weaving makes it slightly better, but dear god.
also SR can kiss my ass until 1.9 lol.
Finally got back to PMing you about that![]()
Now that I've got precision cut and draining blow general grinding is a lot more fun. Hit big numbers, hit big numbers and heal yourself while you do it.
Fallyn, you could always try what I did. Make yourself a worthy noble adamantium polearm and find somebody to expert synth it for you. I saved a lot of money that way.
I really hope they make Theo Labs worth doing as well. Those weapons look cool and are functional to boot. When I ran it on chanter the polearm dropped and I died a little inside.Originally Posted by arus2001
Thanks Vey! And everyone else too.
I tried to get myself a gold EAP recent. Gathered like 1920 ada ore, spent a crapload of time gathering aether gems, and then just tried to cherry pick cheap fluxes when I could. Of the 20 initial synths, only 4 of those HQ'd, and of those 4, 1 HQ'd to allow me a crack at the ENAP. Didn't work out, though.
NPC materials to convert the adamantium ran like 2m alone. And while vendoring the white spears covered most of that, when you consider the cost of fluxes and time spent gathering the other things, I'd say to just buy a blue version if you see one on your broker for 3-4m.
Heard talk of them reworking some crafted goods. Hope that means they'll make the expert ada gs have attack speed, and other things up to 50. If the solo instances are worth doing in 2.0, it's safe to assume I'll be doing those every chance I get.
godstone sold, so 4mil get. i now have just under 6mil. should i get and uses xenospear or buy a wep? not sure on prices as i cant see anything decent up for sale, just wondering if 6mil will cover an atkspd weapon?
On my server it would buy a blue attack speed weapon for sure.
