Balic:
Polearm is 30 and 50.

That's probably what I would have done had I not already gotten rid of my Xenophon's months ago. Right now that's definitely my plan on chanter (level 40 blue attack speed staff). I'm also hoping the new drop tables will be favorable to my upgrade needs.

Probably the best combo until you can get something at 50, really. Yeah, there are other things, but they'd rely on stupid luck in instances or your faction having good abyss control for the shard line.

Another thing to consider would be Heaven Shattering Blade Camp that shit and combine with 40 Balic for another sexy combo!

Personally combining Zap's Spear with 30 Elite spear once I get my last 17k ap lol, better get that soon <.<!

I thought about that, but would say it falls largely on how in control your faction is of the Abyss. I don't think I've seen many of the sword on the Elyos side of things here, and as I type Asmos have most of the upper layer. :/

I can't stand the idea of competing for world bosses in Aion. The claim system doesn't exist and there's no way I could compete with legions like this so Zapiel, Captain, etc. are just not sensible. More pragmatic to use time spent camping on something else.

We have a similar legion that camps bosses and disenchants most of the drops for enchantment stones. A lot of them have already +10'd their weapons and are now working on their armor. Can't out DPS them, and they are always there when the boss pops, so nothing to really be done about it. Barely any action in the abyss because the opposing faction has more or less surrendered and plays their level 35 twinks all day (1 ap per kill), so it's just dredgion and fort instances for ap gear left to do.

UD worth getting now its actually a reasonable price? havent really looked into stigmas much; currently rolling with: ankle snare, severe weakening blow, crippling cut, and improved stamina (for the grindddddd) @43

If you're not PvPing actively, don't worry about it until 50. Contrary to the belief of some, the anti-stun skill doesn't replace it.

I was previously a Templar (30) on Fregion. I'm joining a friend on Triniel server. I was wondering what should I go for as far as Tanking PVE/DPS PVP?

I'm recently coming back after a few months. Stopped playing in February, so I know there have been some changes. One of the main things is Twohand better then Dual Wield now?

2hd > dual for pvp, dual > 2hd for pve. Priority still 2hd to have just 1 weapon set.

What stigmas should I look into? I only really know templar stuff. Haven't gotten a chance to read through this thread since Im at work currently.

I'm a big fan of draining blow and lockdown for tanking. Crippling Cut should be a no brainer. A lot of your decisions will be based on what you want to do. If you're going PVP you'll probably want a very hybridized stigma build to maximize the best PVP stigma (like UD, Ankle Snare, etc).
