The Eagles lost to Oakland (nuff said) the Cowboys almost lost to the Queefs in overtime and are a bad game away from firing Wade and benching Romo, and the Giants got shalacked by the Saints and Eli has been playing like shit. What is there to gloat about, exactly?

Im not sure if you were pointing out the obvious, the guy didnt exactly talk shit, he was happy we won and the giants lost. We finally played a complete game against a team that was a good quality win, of course you know how the typical homer works, or you should by now. But like I said, when we get housed by the saints ina few weeks the jumpers will go away. But I think your post was mostly frustration.

Fucking Steelers are the luckiest franchise in the NFL. Like I needed flashbacks of James Harrison's return in the SB going into a challenging Sunday night game.

My enjoyment of the Cardinals pulling out a win I wasn't anticipating is tempered by the fact that they have no one to cover Steve Smith next week. If Fox gets his head out of his ass and benches Clutch, it's going to be another stressful afternoon.

At least I get an extra hour of tailgating next week with daylight-savings time kicking in everywhere across the country but here.

Tonight's game should focus less on the Cardinals pulling out a decent win, and more on the fact that Eli Manning isn't a top quarterback in this league. He has more in common with Trent Dilfer than Peyton in terms of SB-winning quarterbacks.

Speaking of which, after seeing the news about Bradford...honestly, where does he end up? It's supposed to be a phenomenally QB-heavy draft next year...but there's only 2-3 teams who have even a remote need for a franchise QB right now. They've either got a young buy already, or a veteran firmly entrenched with a huge, albatross of a contract. Buffalo & Washington are really the only places I can envision throwing in the towel on their young QBs at this time (Al Davis is too stubborn/stupid to do so); maybe Cleveland too. And you could maybe see Seattle & Minnesota selecting the heir apparent...but even that might be reaching a bit. Where do these QBs end up?
