Haha this thread is bringing back memories for sure. I should go hunt down some funny noob pics but most of my old screenshots are on an external HD which I don't have on me atm. Here are a few I already had uploaded elsewhere! Sorry they look kinda blah, they're old and badly compressed.

First sky shell. Sadly, that is me in front wearing a Chasuble. I used to wear it for pics cause I liked the look of it.

Me and my RL friends that I started FF with back in like '03 or so. This was right as we finished everyone's AF sets. We were so psyched cause we thought AF was the shit back then (yeah each set has some good pieces but we all were sporting 5/5 100% of the time for a while <_<). Sadly only me and the mithra still play, but one of our other friends started a few months after, though he's obviously not in the pic.

Looking for a pic, vrtra at 1%, a elvvan SAM, has 300TP, but is d/cing, and pointing at everything thats wrong saying OMG OMG OMG. Anyone remember?

Yes, that was Sonfreil from KoN. He had meykyo shisui ready, 100% TP vrtra at 1% and someone had mijin'd for like 600.

i've been reading BG for years, but just recently made an account and this is the first thread i want to post in. i'll post some pics when i can.

also, the talk about trains reminded me of a few different times when crawler's nest was literally ruined for hours on end. zone in, die. try to warn people not to zone in, but they do anyway. end up going to some insane place like beaucedine (sp?) and try to level on statues...wtf.

I remember people who'd zone almost every Worker Crawler in existence, then smuggle like a single Knight into the pile to aggro people.

I seem to remember my LS going to camp simurgh and running into one of those crawler trains. We destroyed the chain, raised everybody up, and we were heroes. :D Then we went and nearly wiped to simurgh because we didn't know jack.

I -still- remember trying to land level 70 blood pacts on that damn NM and every single one of them missing.

Oh God, this. Someone would run into CN, aggro the entire zone, shout for help, and then just zone them all. You'd either have to wait 'til all the mobs cleared out, or just disband your party.

Also someone mentioned when shit still hit you on your chocobo. I remember going through the jungles, and getting hit with random sleeps or random bomb tosses D:

At least in CN, you would see a bunch of people outside and would KNOW that it was dangerous. Wasn't that easy in Selbina.

Step 1) LFP in Selbina and go AFK
Step 2) Get a party invite after 2 hours
Step 3) Walk outside to find them
Step 4) Die
Step 5) Watch 6-8 Goblins fade in, slaughtering people running to Selbina
Step 6) (insert random bunch of swear words)
Step 7) HP and start again

People in your party would then wonder why you died and say, "well if we can't get a raise then we should disband." - lol
