In terms of merit mobs this generally works. You need relatively high attack in order for KJ to consistently outdo RR, typically Berserk/Chaos/Kabob should do it on merit mobs, but obviously the higher the mob the more attack you need. I tend to just use RR if I'm unsure of the mob's def/eva, since RR sets tend to have a tad more Acc than KJ sets. But yeah, I changed to doing KJ with Bergressor up and RR with it down as a rule in merits and have had a lot of success with it.
For RNG TP, assume 0 merits: what's better, STR +1 and R.atk +5 or STR +2 earring?
Alkys or heca hands for aggressor down KJ?
WS Gear is:
Perdu/Pole/---/Bomblet
Heca/Breeze/Brutal/Triumph
Haub +1/???/Rajas/Triumph
Foragers/Warwolf/Afv2/Heca
Also maybe Cuch mantle for agg down?
Edit: Have 8 GA merits
Heca Hands and Cuchu, unless Pizza on lower to mid evasion Mamools.
Doing quick math, I get:
282 Acc from 292 Skill
33 Acc from gear (5 Perdu, 6 Bomblet, 10 Breeze, 12 Haub +1)
~69 Acc from DEX (68 Base ASSUMED, 5 Cap, 6 Haub +1, 5 Warwolf, 5 Rajas, 3 Leggings)
384 Acc Total is decent if you're eating Pizza and bumping it up into the 420s, but if you're on birds or something and you're not eating Pizza, or you're fighting higher evasion Mamools then you'll want over 400 Acc to start with. Cuchu and Heca hands (8 DEX, 5 Acc) gets you to 395.
Warrior's Stone, Ares's Flanchard, 25 WS Acc hat, E.body would all be improvements. If you got a WS Acc Hat, you could use Alkys and be at a good Accuracy with your current gear.
I know the Moogle head with ws acc/ac dmg is better then heca cap, I was also wondering though, is it significantly better then heca? or is it a minor upgrade and i can use the augments for some other job?
He's just saying that +5 DEX > +0 DEX.
fucking wrong thread
and by marine you mean denali feet?
No. If you're using sushi Marine F boots are better. STR3 / DEX3. If you're using meat WS in usukane or Denali if you don't have usukane. If you're not a hume F (like I know mioko is) then by all means, Denali with sushi.
Moogle head is just better if you are missing some other key pieces and thus, not capping accuracy due to those things you are missing. In your case and as Byrthnoth put it, Moogle cap and alkys would be a good trade off, but if you could get Warrior's Stone and E.Body, Hecatomb Cap would be way better than Moogle and you would probably have to redo it unless you use it for other WSs.
Short answer: With ideal gear, H. Cap is better than Moogle, but the latter is a good choice till you can improve the other few slots. I'd also say its a minor upgrade even then and would use it for something else, but thats a personal choice.
Yeah. With GA a WS Acc cap is not a part of an ideal gearset. For Ridill WARs, WS Acc Cap is a pretty huge boon.
All I can do is quote accuracy numbers at you.
384 Accuracy on KJ gives you a 85.5% average Hit rate on Lolibri.
395 Accuracy on KJ (Heca hands + Cuchu) gives you a 91% average Hit rate on Lolibri.
408 Accuracy on KJ (Heca hat -> WS Acc helm, Heca Hands, Forager's) gives you a 95% average hit rate on Lolibri.
403 Accuracy on KJ (Heca hat -> WS Acc helm, Alkys, Forager's) gives you a 94% average hit rate on Lolibri.
To get these numbers, I'm just calculating the hit rate on each level of Lolibri and averaging them together. If you eat a Pizza and fight high evasion Mamools, without doing the math I'll guess it'd be comparable or worse in each of the cases.
Your first reaction will probably be "Oh no way, I don't miss 15% of my WS additional hits!" but you have to remember you probably Double Attack 20% of the time too which makes it much harder to eyeball. Also, keep in mind this accuracy just applies to the additional hits. The first hit of every tested WS I know of has been shown to get a big Acc bonus.
