What everyone here meant to say is, you should be using a Wyvern Earring with your Brutal. Real men sub DRG to everything, broseph
Not worth moving server for meriting, lol, but even if that was the case, my merits are capped anyways. Only xp for buffer or for fun (competitive parsing)
I wish I was on your server, I can't get a decent DNC merit party to save my life.
Funny thing is I have dnc, so I could do it myself if needed, but like I said, I only xp for buffer and fun, and I'd rather be the DD, haste samba whore isn't what I'd call my idea of a good time
I'd probably feel that way about my WAR if it weren't so gimp and Byakko pantsless.
It kind of changes based on your current STR, since sometimes adding 2 STR will get you absolutely nothing, others it could get you 2 base D from fSTR/WSC. I don't think that +2% DA really equates to a 2% damage increase if you aren't starting with 0 DA(I may be wrong, I'm no mathologist), but if I'm not mistaken 135 STR caps fSTR on birds with Perdu Voulge, so there's that to look out for as well, i.e. if you're at 133 in Ares you won't get the full benefit out of switching to Hachiryu. I personally don't think I'd use Hachiryu outside of Warrior's Charge SC, but someone else's input would be nice since they have to be pretty close to Ares.
Since I'm in the process of leveling WAR and am looking toward future builds I figure I will ask this here. I do not yet have a Cuchulain's mantle, but I did get quite lucky on an appraisal and got an Aileron mantle. Am I right to presume that for the time being before I can purchase a Cuchulain's mantle I should TP in Aileron over Forager's? Reason why I ask is I am unsure if +6 Acc is worth it to sacrifice +3 STR and +15 ATTK? Especially when I was under the impression Cuchulain's while in fact superior to Forager's is so only because of the STR and DEX in addition to ACC on Cuchulain's?
Spoiler: show
I feel this same question gets asked a ton. You should wear aileron when you need the acc, forager's when u don't. Cuch is superior to aileron's because it has more acc, comparing cuch and forager's is a matter of your build and the amount of acc you need for whatever you're fighting.
My understanding that the typically best combo was senj/perdu since nin's can get high dDex and use Jin, easily offsetting the 1 base damage difference.
What augments would I need for a fudo to match/beat a senj?
Fudo: 39 dmg 227 delay 3% crit
Senj: 38 dmg 227 delay 6% crit
Seen Fudos with damage, dex, and -delay, so would this be possible?
In my opinion, almost anything good on a Fudo would make it better than Senju. It already has a base damage advantage, and the 3% Crit difference between the two is overrated given the bardly state of the game at the moment. I'm not convinced a Fudo with no stat boosts is worse than Senju.
You should be able to get:
DMG +1-2 (This might be capped at 1 for Fudo. I haven't seen examples of 1H weapons with more than +1)
Delay -1-3% (Also, haven't seen examples of Delay-% on 1H weapons)
Acc/Atk +2-6
STR+1-3
DEX+1-3
on a Fudo, and you can get two of them if you're willing to augment a billion things. Obviously you'll mostly get elemental resists and negative stats though =p
I'm looking to improve my Sam Penta set for G.Colibri. Currently looks like:
Tomoe/pole/.../tiphia
hissho/pcc/ethereal/brutal
haub+1/bando/rajas/ulthalam
forage/warwolf/byakko/usu
Hume, full str/crit merits, 0 polearm merits.
Was wondering if usu legs would be better than byakkos, or lavas/kusha better than rajas/ulth?
