I think the only people who will ever care about crit damage increases are thief and bluemage. And in both those cases they are significantly more even exchanges (x's knife isn't even sacrificing, brave grip replaces like 3str?).
14 str for sam is 13-15 base damage (75% ws, 25% fstr). Add in WS multipliers (hagun w/gorget & overwhelm "~2.2")
The only one who might actually benefit from either the body or the gloves from the set is a pup synergizing them for stringing pummel.

Yea i made shikkoku body/hands for my monk, mainly because im tired of looking at dbody. Thought maybe i would get lucky and be able to use it for another one of my jobs. Im 30 synergy atm, gonna wait and cap it out before i try to etch/evo it up. Hopefully they will come out with more evoliths soon, h2h gets the shaft.

So my Black Mage is pretty recent to 75 about 4 month's now. Not finished with merit's only skill maxed at the moment with some AM2 unlocked. Would this earring set be worth camping to replace my current set which is Moldy + Galka RSE (INT+2 MP+10)? Novio is pretty far out still for me.

Not necessarily. If you miss the first hit, landing all 4 others still gives you 100 TP in 5 hits. You're right in a very simple way: your x-hit is always ruined by missing the first hit.
Just picked up Samurai again, after along time of not playing it/FF.
Since i have the options due to other jobs gear being available, my question is:
Would white tath + rose strap be worth thinking about over Tiphia/pole + Hachi feet to reach 6hit.
Therefore having 3% haste (Dusk feet +1) instead of hachi.

it will be stricly better yeah, and its the "standard" pre-usukane build. You dont need white thaltum if you ws in hachi feet (+1) instead of rutters, or AF+1 leg instead of D.leg, If I recall. Also depending on your accuracy/merits you could use the askar body and stick with pole grip when you don't need the +16 acc on haubergeon.

Trying to figure out how to make Polearm suck less on WAR, I've only really tried it out once but it was a pretty large dropoff from my GAxe numbers.
Currently using Crab + the following:

I'm not really sure what/where to improve, I just know that when I tried it a MNK/WAR was blowing me away, I switched to GA and our parse #s immediately flipped without anything changing on his end.
/NIN 480 Delay, +2 Store TP = 8-Hit.
/SAM 480 Delay, +17 Store TP = 7-Hit.
In order to 6-Hit /SAM you need 29 Store TP (-15 Trait = 14) can be achieved with Rajas (5) + Brutal (1) + (Ecphoria (1) OR Engetsuto (1)) + Aurum Cuirass (7).
Reducing Hit Build could help I think^^;
You can tweak with different gear to get the Store TP, there is more.
