[Hades] Brutala

Brutala applied to DR today,

"My char is a galka on Hades called Brutala (I haven't moved to Levi yet)."

Claims he was a member of Prestige, HuntUpGround, Turmoil amongst others from late 2006 onwards, prior to this time a casual player.

Goes into a lot of detail in his applicaition and seems like a knowledgable/experienced player.

Anyone got any comments on his skill/attitude/potential drama that could aid us in making a decision?

Probably the best tank I've ever played with, is knowledgeable in melees but doesn't really have gear or merits for them, good attendance and play time. Only thing I will say is, and no offense, but I would have thought your shell was a bit too slow paced for him (7 Odins in a year) so I hope if he does go he doesn't get bored.

If we had been doing Einherjar for a year, you would have a point. But we haven't, so you don't. Thanks for the comments though.

But yeah Brutala is a great player. He has character and won't be afraid to call bullshit if he senses it. He was just about the EU only person I enjoyed doing events with in the aforementioned linkshell. I tried to talk him out of transfering but he's really looking to broaden his horizons and he would like to join a succesful (lowman) linkshell.

Rest assured that if this guy joins your linkshell and you don't pull any shit on him, he will be a most valuable asset in no time.

Never heard anything terrible about him, usually anyone whose a dickbag or elitist or shitty player, or a combination of the 3 gets heard about. So pretty much everyone knows over half the server on Hades.

Brut is one of the most knowledgeable players I know, very skilled, reliable, and nice. If you treat him well I am sure he will be one of the most valued players in your linkshell in no time. Personally I will be extremely sad to see him leave Hades.

Lowman linkshell, started with 6-7 people. Didn't have the right numbers or experience when we started. Still depend on 100% attendance for Einherjar due to lowman nature of LS. We get one Odin done every 2-3 weeks average, sometimes 4 weeks if we have to re-clear due to people missing.

One of the best players I've encountered, same with his attitude. If he sees something that can be, or is shitty, he wont shut up about it. Great knowledge about his jobs.

Been kinda screwed over for loot in game though, so can miss some gear because of this.
Takes pride in his job and what he work with, he will have awesome attendance.

Brutala was my best in game bro since Kaitos quit years ago, I did everything with him for years and was gutted when he didn't come to Phoenix with me (but I'm glad he didn't, it fucking sucks), I pretty much quit because I don't like playing without Brutala. He helped me do loads of missions/assaults/etc etc and I never got to fully help him back but I'm sure he doesn't even care cus he helped tons of people for zero reward. He did get screwed over on gear from time/effort input in VK (left with 1100+ points) but show me one JP leader that didn't fuck over the entire LS on Hades.

Too much positive shit from biased people. Here's a few interesting things, for the sake of balance:

1 When Marone's Ebody was stolen, or unintentionally misallocated as VK would put it, I didn't just leave the ls, I made pearls and gave them out so Prestige leeched ToDs off lsmes for awhile.
2 Turmoil was Ken's failed attempt to destroy Prestige by hijacking the good players and I fully supported it. The joke was on me when Ken/Liq hijacked the LS bank and split.
3 Zealot is full of shit with that Jesus comment. By faith I'm leaning somewhere between atheism and pastafarianism.

No idea why VK/Prestige aren't posting anything bad about me. I guess not a single member is even aware that there's such a thing as forums and other online resources about ffxi. That Would explain a few things.
