MSI EX625 and Fujifilm Memory Stick

My laptop came w/ a built in memory stick, and my camera happens to use a 512 MB fujifilm card.

For some reason, it'll read my sony card, but not my fuji card and my sony stick won't fit into my cam. I got this cam from my grandma when she got her new cam and the stick works on her desktop, my old laptop, and her laptop, but does not work on my new one and I don't have the USB cable to connect the cam directly.

Is there a particular driver I need for this brand of mem stick? would like to be able to do something w/ the pics i take.

From the way things sound I would have to assume the cards are just different [physical] formats and in general cameras only support one type or proprietary group of formats. There's a table listing the varieties on this wiki entry: Memory card - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
