Depending on the flavour of libertarianism it doesn't even advocate municipal autonomy.

When the coversation is about say, the evils/necessity of social welfare, this line of argument is just a cheap way of crassly caricaturing the entire right as something that only its most insane and hardline proponents actually embody, which is something I'd expect more from a frothy mouthed conservative like Lief. Learn how to debate without cheap rhetorical tricks like this.
Not jk that was a well written post, and the bottom line is ( especially on the internet ): everyone is a little extreme and intellectually dishonest.

Now, to defend myself, I did say "in the South," and could further bring up particular regions to worry about something of the like wether it's racial, religious, or lifestyle discrimination I sincerely and with anecdotal evidence can prove that decentralized federal government is simply not viable yet it's the only answer you give for less government involvement and advocate state government or local government control.

And the right crassly caricaturizes itself, I just hold up that picture so everyone can get a good look.

I would suggest learning how to debate by arguing specific points and not resorting to generalities.

Ok, the sheer fact that we have a public education system demonstrates the fact that the majority of people in this country value education and want to contribute to it and believe in providing it to everyone at a reasonable price / semi-free (Since its ran from taxes).

Anarchy or Libertarianism would not change this.
What you got is a post that shows how dense you are. I, and I am pretty sure Max, were refering to education in the greater aspect of people need to know what nutrition is, smoking is bad for you, don't harass homo's for being gay, the real effects of going to war, how policy benefits or detracts from you, how to be a responsible voter.

Not math, science, and PE you fucking moron. Pretty much sure you're not worth debating anymore as you have the intellectual capacity of a bean.

I think it has been clearly established that nobody can have an intellectual capacity less than yours.

But, before we get into a war over who is stupid and who isn't, I'll jump right in!

Stupid. I can't believe you consider things as utterly ridiculous as "smoking is bad" "you must treat the gays nicely" "war is bad" "how to vote for liberals" as education protities.

Not math, science, and PE you fucking moron.
Good, because our kids aren't learning any of that anyways.

Actually, it's a perfectly fair example. Institutionalized terrorism against minorities was very much the norm in the South until the Federal government stepped in to stop it (though in fairness the North has always been pretty damn racist too and not much has really been done). You can't just say "well, the community thinks violence is wrong!" when that community endorsed said violence quite openly by action or omission before Washington brought down the hammer, and has shown through the continued existence of the KKK and other hate groups that at least a large subset of the community would hit the ground running all over again if they had the chance.

    More or less right...

I personally think Math and Science should be first.

A culture that understands the laws of entropy will be much less likely to be wasteful with it's resources or it's people.

A culture that understands how to put a condom on a banana at age 12 is less likely to create babies.

A culture that understands how to educate everyone properly is less likely to have an issue with unwanted childbirth.

Lesson 1: liberals have shown they obviously can't raise test scores.

But if you established nationwide voucher programs, privatized the school system, and abolished welfare for single mothers, our future generations would be pretty awesome, actually!

Lesson 2: Do not put "The Finesse" and "Max" in charge of education.

What a twist, you and I completely agree on something.

We're both human and have a common ground.

    Amazing how that works out.

I will personally take responsibility for educating my children, by first teaching them how to learn on their own, and then assisting them with their studies, and survival tools like you mentioned above about nutrition and such.

Just because you're a liberal doesn't mean you can be trusted with education.

I think a lot of us have more in common than we'd like to accept but internet pride has a way of knocking the dicks out of each others mouths and cage matching the shit out of each other.

But again you have a great point, unfortunately not a lot of American parents have the capable facilities ( federal, state, mental, peer ) to properly educate their children.

    Really tragic imo
