Now, to defend myself, I did say "in the South," and could further bring up particular regions to worry about something of the like wether it's racial, religious, or lifestyle discrimination I sincerely and with anecdotal evidence can prove that decentralized federal government is simply not viable yet it's the only answer you give for less government involvement and advocate state government or local government control.

I feel like a victim of my teams inability to fire back. To put it bluntly my representatives are gigantic walking pussies and never push back when pushed. When the right screams foul libs have a tendency to turtle up and apologize so now I have to be all fucking Rush Limbaugh of the left and flip the script to prove a point.

Obviously that point is lost and I come off as a mean-spirited asshole that just wants to win at all costs for nothing more than the value I invest in my party.

Actually, it's a perfectly fair example. Institutionalized terrorism against minorities was very much the norm in the South until the Federal government stepped in to stop it (though in fairness the North has always been pretty damn racist too and not much has really been done). You can't just say "well, the community thinks violence is wrong!" when that community endorsed said violence quite openly by action or omission before Washington brought down the hammer, and has shown through the continued existence of the KKK and other hate groups that at least a large subset of the community would hit the ground running all over again if they had the chance.
