Science actually can explain that. It's called sleep paralysis and will generally affect the uneducated more then it would the educated; the uneducated have a harder time rationalizing what they've seen. Combine that with alcohol and you have some of the best abduction/ghost/god stories you could ever dream up.

The probability was implied in my statement, and it's by no mean a "biased" value. I simply pointed out where the first "most stable" structure that can lead to complex molecule. There is none before it, and the one after are fucking rare in comparaison.

Secondly, if you take christianity for exemple, Vatican already stated many years ago that discovery from sciences were always right. Many can accept stuff without trying to find a special meaning.

Sulfur is right under oxygen, and because of this, it behaves similarly. They are still carbon based life form, and generally feed on corpse from above, even if they "breath" sulfur.

Gonna check on the net to make sure I'm not bullshitting, but I think thats what it was.

Regarding life on other planets: The odds that there is life out there somewhere in some form are fairly good. The odds that there is life out there that has developed light speed travel, is O2 breathing carbon based life form with head, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 eyes, etc is pretty much fucking NIL. I'll pretty much guarantee you that any abduction theory out there is a hoax or a hallucination of some kind. My guess is that were we to discover life of some kind elsewhere in our or other galaxy that we would at first not recognize it as life- it would be that different.
