Maybe consciously/unconsciously self-sabotaging. I don't like how the writers fed everything Neil's got to the woman very much but meh.

Well, the very first episode this season had Peter talking to some agents and Neil seemed to hav run away - which leads me to believe this entire season is Peter telling them the events leading up to Neil's escape.

Wasn't that "flashback" in the first episode just the end of the first episode? With them chasing Neil on the plane?

have seen promos before but they never really got me to think about watching this show, never really knew what it was about.
i started watching today after reading some of your comments here and i have not been disappointed. really great show so far.

It cracked me up that both Burn Notice and White Collar pulled a "Let's make the notorious hacker a girl! It will be so unexpected!" move in the same season and so close together.

Well, they're definitely showing that Neil is slowly coming over to the "good" side little by little. I think eventually he and Peter will have some kind of showdown where he chooses between running and staying. My guess is he'll stay. Eventually.

He could just work for peter as an FBI asset without the ankle bracelet while being involved in some illegal stuff akin to multi-million dollar U-boat treasure. Hardly a problem for writers XD

What is his prison sentence? I figured it was life in prison from all the things he's done.
Excepted expiration dates have never really stopped a show before anyways. I mean Glee/Community/any other school show ever's pretty much limited to 4 years, but most have found a way around it.

He was in for only 4 years originally before breaking out to find his girl. I don't know if they ever said how much more jail time he was facing, but it couldn't be more than the original sentence, no?
