I live in LA, seriously, the fires are not newsworthy. They are a normal part of the ecosystem ffs, many plants life cycles utilize the fire. If you are going to build your home in or near a fire/mudslide zone, BUILD ONE THAT CAN WITHSTAND THE CRISIS, CLEAR FUCKING BRUSH FROM AROUND YOUR HOME.
