Random Crafting Question Thread I: HQ secret cracked!

Sorry if I missed this somewhere but ran into an issue changing guilds today. Changed from cooking to bonecraft and sacrificed a few points and the bonecraft guild will not take my point item for today. Check wiki and bgwiki and found nothing on the reason for this. Tried zoning, gameday change, temp log etc... trying to get past the "You are not eligible to receive points at this time", guessing its a jp midnight?

My theory is since you no longer lose GPs when you switch affiliations they put a JP midnight rule in effect so people are not abusing the system in the sense that they change affiliation every day just for the highest possible GP item.

Well a few more zone changes, a besieged on a gimp blu, new (awesome) game of thrones episode, and several game days later still no luck on trade. Will try again in 7 or so hrs after a jp midnight.

Tried the new worms in Gustav, so far only gotten platinum ore at best. The Pygmytoises are dropping adaman ore, not sure what else they may drop (they're a pain to kill on thf). Also tried the worms in Kuftal, but there are so many tigers running around it's almost impossible to focus on worms. Got a few gold ores from those.

Sample sizes are pretty small from the worms, will try those a bit longer before giving up on them.

Just did about 21k xp on the Gustav worms duo with a thf, nothing above platinum ore. If they DO drop new ore, it's not going to make much of a difference in supply...

When you change guilds the NPC tells you that you won't be able to trade in any GP items for the current RL day

Comming back , Had Smith with most subs @ 60 , is the new cap 110? with some 20k GP item? so total cap 122? also any of these new syths money makers and do i have to fuck with synergy again? its @ 79 and i really dont plan on moving it unless cap rose.

Just came back to the game last week, and haven't played since Oct 2009. Got a question about obtaining the Stall.

I know very little about Synergy. Ive tried reading up on it but its still confusing. I am looking to get an Alchemist's Stall made, and realize the ingredients I need, but do not know the steps or procedures to actually make it. Can someone write a mini guide on the steps to take? I am 100+3 Alchemy.

My overall idea so far is this:

1. Obtain all ingredients needed
2. Find someone with 80 Synergy
3. I need to be the claimholder on the pot and mix the ingredients.
4. I am lost at this point.

0.5: obtain a synergy crucible
1-as is
2-as is (can be 70+)
3-as is
4-70+ synergist does the synergy
5-end synergy ( you have to do it, they cant) and get stall

Thanks for the info. As far as the synergy itself, do i have to do anything such as add fewell, twack, repair, etc? Or just let it do its thing?

If you have merely unlocked synergy so you can start the synth don't do anything. Stalls are a piece of cake synth, just stand there for 45 seconds and reap the benefits.

Every BGWiki article for crafting stalls reads roughly (with furniture changed for appropriate craft):

"* Mega Moglification: Clothcraft becomes more powerful when the player has Gilt Tapestry and Weaver's Sign in his/her Mog House layout."

There's no citation for it, and can't seem to find what that means exactly. I was told awhile back by someone following all the stall info when it came out that the Stall alone was the only furniture you needed at all for the +5 skill. That (for Clothcraft anyway), the Gilt Tapestry and Weaver's Sign were obsoleted and unnecessary.

Does "becomes more powerful" refer to extra +skill, or does it refer to that faint/powerful/overwhelming energy crap? And if it's the latter, what exactly does that do if anything?

That information was added when the stalls first came out as seen here. (The citation is on the craft category page under Mega Moglification.)

It seems that this information has been refined though.

I personally don't feel stall ever gave anything but +5. That's just me though.
