I'm pretty confused about how synergy works. if someone else has it leveled, are they able to make me a teleport earring? even though its r/e?

You need a Synergy crucible to initiate the synergy and you have to put in the ingredients for the final product, but the other person or people can do all of the work for you.

Do the subcrafts of synergy synths affect the HQ rate? i.e will the level goldsmithing or w/e subcraft needed affect the hq rate?

None of the new Ores in Ifrits,

Been mining there a fair bit lately.

I believe the new ones are all from new content. Like palladian is from provenence

Wyrdstrand is new content material, but it drops from free roaming mobs in Tree and Nest
Squamous Hide is new content material, but it drops from high lvl lizards in Gusta[s]
Kapor Lumber is new content material, but Kapor Logs are loggable in Yuhtunga.

SE can be pretty failtastic, but I'm not willing to believe they'd fuck certain crafts over on material acquisition by letting them be farmable in open areas and shit all over others, especially considering that the ores need FOUR to be used in an ingot synth.

Piece Of Staghorn Coral *
Sealord Skin *
Square Of Sealord Leather *
Vial Of Belladonna Sap *
Spool Of Wyrdstrand (used in Spoilia set)
Square Of Wyrdweave (used in Spoilia set)
Squamous Hide (Used in Urja set)

Those are all the new synth materials added. Anything thats used exclusively for hexed synths I've marked with an *, and it should be safely assumed they drop solely from VW or Legion.

None at all! Smithing/goldsmithing ores appear to be vw only, though they do have very high drop rates from provenance (as can be seen by the price crashing).

Penelope's Cloth, Scarletite Ingot, Ormolu Ingot, Serica Cloth, and Staghorn Coral are just rare drops from CoP/AU vw fights.

Does the Kapor Lumber, Wyrdstrand or Squamous Hide from from VW as well?

I've seen a wide variety of randoms selling it, so it seems to reason it does drop from VW as well. I"m asking cuz I havent really touched any of the new VW, too much stupid shitty drop rate.

Maybe the lower level mining areas? Yuhtunga isnt exactly lv90 territory but you can get Kapor logs there. Granted they were there before the patch...SE could have changed the location.

Leather 70 + gloves covers leather
Presuming you have stall, apron and glasses, at 101 skill + imagery you have 111 skill.
