Can someone explain to me how to level synergy up to 70. I want to level it to spam Armada stuff, but to be honest I am quite confused when looking at Synergy.... anyone have a good leveling path or just good tips?

Are Adaman Bullets actually 81/81 Smithing/Alchemy? Just making sure before I level up smithing all the way.

Also, how does it work with subcrafts now? Like back when crafting was 100 cap, you had 40 points to allot past 60. One at 100, or 2 at 80. Is it the same now, just with the baseline being 70? TL;DR - can I have 100 alch and 80 smithing

Smithing 31+ on Adaman Bullets. As for 100 main 80 sub now it should work but I'm not sure what combo would benefit.

Also adaman bullets as something to shoot for aren't necessarily all they're cracked up to be. Basically no profit making them now on shiva. Too much demand for adaman ingots for other things.

I'm actually probably going to be using the bullets. I've always wanted to level RNG, and i got it to 48 before i quit late 09.

Now, I'll finish it out soon. Sucks I didn't get to have any colibri fun at 55, though.

And thanks for the smithing clarification. Wiki said 81/81 but I didn't believe it because it's wiki.

FFXIAH.com doesn't even list the smithing requirement, and yeah I could see making them for your own use, especially as other crafters are selling them less and less cause it's just not worth it.

And you could still have your colibri fun @ Abyssea Misareaux Coast. One of the better spots for cruor if you do it right. They don't ruby so have 1 person max ruby outside party then join, and you end up with just enough red chests to cap silver/gold. I got 750k cruor in one night and we didn't even have someone get ruby far as I know.

Thanks for the help, al. One last question: Is there a "best" synth to spam fewell on for synergy to skill it up? Also, I remember reading there was a skillup food for crafting? C/D?

idk about the craft skillup food (kitron macaron) for synergy, in theory it'd work but it is a whole different system... the prefered synth for synergy to 70 is platinum nugget: 4x platinum leaf 2x vitriol. No craft needed, also you can spam earth fewell and since an earth explosion gives slow but doesn't overwrite haste you don't need to worry about stopping to remove the slow.

More of a random comment than question: just tested and found you can mule hq crystals. If you want to sign a lot of stuff and have a mule with a 30+ craft you're not using GP on, or want to spend the time levelling one of the crafts that's all profit till/past 30, you can stock up on cheap/easy GP days and save GP on your main.

I don't think anyones done more than a couple of synths past 104 but it is definitely at least that high

About synergy, I'm in the process of getting it to 70 and then need to find someone to lend a stall or w/e you use! I'm currently at 50. I'd say my fasted levels were from about 25-40, but from 45-50 it's been so ridiculous I'm questioning if I did something wrong, is there fatigue, etc etc? As an example, last night it took close to 45 minutes for .1 skillup doing platinum nugget spamming earth. Is it normal to go that long? I've just never seen that before if so.

a lot of people have said that level difference doesn't seem to matter (or matters less than regular synthing) regarding skillups in synergy. I tend to disagree. I'd suggest doing gold nuggets to level 60 (level 60 cap) then switch to platinum nuggets at that point.

Did gold nugget synth this morning before work for about 1hr 15min. Received somewhere around 3.8-4.2 levels. So yeah, definitely go closer to synth level!
