Being one of the few max-level diggers left, I'd beat off furiously if staghorn coral and the like were diggable.

Aye I would just be happy if they added something reasonable back to to digging, although god knows how many capped rmt digging accounts are still floating around
Yeah same... guy who was selling to me stopped and now is litterally putting stuff up higher and higher each time attempting and sadly succeding in raising the prices with each sale
I've been making pretty sweet gil selling stacks of Red Curry Bun+1 but one thing puzzles me. Why do chumps keep buying them? There's no conceivable reason to spend the extra gil on RCB+1. The duration, +STR and +Attack of the HQ are identical to the NQ. All you're getting is +HP/AGI/INT.
Is the info on those even accurate? Wikis list ranged attack on red curry buns to be 75, which seems unlikely.
I don't know, but I would have assumed it at least has a higher attack cap.
just about every other 30 min food gets a 60 min duration for the HQ no?
Yeah, but curry buns (Yellow and Red) don't for some reason. I guess shit could just be glitched?
i guess RCB+1s are just for looks then, i can now laugh with confidence at anyone i see eating one.
Speaking of choco digging, I've been gone for a year and since then the fishing and crafting cap has been raised......any chance digging got an extra level? Not that it would matter tremendously with the items that are out there, just curious.
Same. I used to mine regularly throughout my time since starting in 2005. The only benefit I ever saw as I mined more and more was that I became much more familiar with the routes to cover the most mining points in the least time. I never noticed a higher frequency of pricier/rarer mining results, and pick breaks are connected to the gear.
seperate issue: is Wiki and BGWiki sure on the leather subcraft level for Cursed Dalmatica? Comment on ffxiah.com says they received a skillup @lv 54, and both wikis list it as 51.
I don't know of a way to track your levels like you can in digging, but there was speculation years ago that the HELM activities had craft levels. Less breakrate on your pickaxe/hatchet/sickle, higher rates on rare items, etc. Seems like "crafting direction/moon phase" BS but it's possible i guess.
About harvesting/mining levels:
Digging has a "hidden" level to it which is measured by the time it takes to dig upon entering a zone. So its measurable. Also the items get significantly better as you level (which is not observed in harvesting/mining (at least not to that extent). Also, way back ib the old days you could see your digging skill if you opened the menu fast enough upon zoning. It was listed as "riding" skill. However no harvesting/mining skills were shown along with it. For those reasons most people think there are no mining/harvesting levels and im inclined to believe them.
Max digging skill was already getting hard to measure ar ten seconds upon entering a zone with many computers allowing digging to take place eight as the zone fully loaded. So seeing if a new level has been added would prove challenging. I was just curious.

I'm Tier 2 on Dragon Hearts and have HQed a lot of them now, but the yield is always 4 or 6 blood. Either I'm incredibly unlucky or the 9/12 HQs were removed/never existed.
48 NQs
15 HQ1s (~24% HQ rate, Tier 2 predicted to be 25% in Aurik's sticky)
0 HQ2s
0 HQ3s
1/4 of my HQs should be HQ2/3 according to Aurik's sticky, so there's only a 1.3% chance (.75^15) of HQ1ing 15 times without seeing a higher level HQ assuming the model is correct.
Has anyone seen a 9/12 blood Dragon Heart synth? It wouldn't even be following a normal HQ structure (4 -> 6 -> 9 -> 12? wat?) which makes it even more suspicious.
