i really only use safety lever occasionally, but i never use the other options. pressure seems to affect nothing

Pressure is the damage done when the furnace blows up, so its still useless, but just pointing out what it does.
Yeah repair is better than many give it credit it for since it often looks like it does hardly anything. Seems to be some kind of lag or something using it. You gotta spam a few heals but works great for soloing even not super hard stuff if you get unlucky
agreeing - repair really is nice if you spam it a few times straight, you'll actually see the pot regening
ewell feed > safety lever > repair
Thanks for the input. Now to rage at how mind-numbingly boring it is to skill up. I have the emblem to make my fishing stall, should I just spam that (and get water fewel cheaper than earth) all the way from ~lv5 to 80, of do something like mythril nuggets for a while first? Is it harder to get skillups when you're 70+ levels from cap on the recipe?
if you garden at all you probably end up with tons of colored rocks, which are the unstackable bottle neck to synthing fewell assuming you have/can find the alchemy skill (needs slime oil tho). i did water because it was like 1/3 the price of earth fewel. the poison is annoying but i just subbed whm and used poisona, or you can just ignore it if you want, it just makes the pot run out of hp a little faster. i went 1-50 on nuggets and 50-80 on shadowy broth. skillups might have been slightly better within ~10 lvs or so, but the difference is relatively small if theres one at all. only thing i hated about lving on stall was that it was tedious restarting the recipe because of all the ingredients. tbh, you'd be best off finding the simplest recipe you can that uses the fewel you want to use.
Spamming fewel is cheaper, but slower. Its also brain numbing boring.
The fastest way to skill synergy is:
Spam fuel, don't let impurties go over 30. (don't let the pot explode)
Repeat until pressure is 300ish.
Spam Repair until out of light.
Spam pressure, until its 0.
Then just spam an element until you are out of time.
Its 20k a pop if I remember right but you'll skill up very fast.
The above method uses a ton of light fewell (I believe) but have had a friend who skilled up this way and said it was very fast comparatively.
can comment on the value of repair for skillups as i have been relevelling synergy (i miss you packets), if you can make light fewell and afford to spam it you will definitely notice a large increase in skill gain. i would feed until overload and then repair ~50 fewell worth per synth. also, make some fisherman's cuffs for precision thwack, can't provide numbers but eyeballing it seems to help.
wish i had known this when i was skilling up. white rocks drop from crawlers at the O. Kote/Sarutobi Kayan camps iirc, used to get tons of them waiting for spawns
I didnt notice much of a skillup gain doing the repair route, and it was more...life-time efficient to do the fewell feed route. Figure it out.
So I was fishing on two accounts when I went to zone to get rid of zone fatigue on one account when somehow I got stuck at 14.9 fps on one account, and the other account won't drop below 29.9 even when it casts a line. Is this a normal error?
Happened when I was doing Meeble Burrows as well. I think that's a glitch.
Can any of the hexed gear be desynthed?
Nothing recently added can be desynthed![]()
looking to make a pair of cursed trews-1, looking into the leather sub, since both wiki's have it as unknown, I stumbled upon this:
http://wiki.ffo.jp/html/12175.html
says the leather sub is 31, should I take that as fact, or think its JP's being JP?
Does anyone know the cloth sub level for Hexed Hakama? If so, can it be T1ed?
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to farm for the Alchemy Torque? The one place I tried that had a lot of mobs, the BB room, they seemed to still be on 16 min repops, or at least higher than 5, so I'm stuck with a lot of running around for the 5 min repop ones it seems.
Does BG wiki have a de-synth lookup..option..something? Regular wiki has it on the same page....curious.
