I have a quick question about the deleveling of crafts. :< I read the other thread before this, but. I had 103 smithing/73GS/73LC. When I was leveling LC I accidentally took it to around 73.2-.3~ and I didn't bother because I figured getting smithing to 104 would just put that back to flat 73. But when I got to the part where the deleveling should occur, it dropped my GS down to 72 D:. So is there a way to get it so that I can get my crafts as 104/73/73. Because as I understand it right now, if I get GS back to 73, it'll take smithing down, then if I take smithing back up, it'll probably repeat and take GS back down? :< I just waaaant my crafts to be 104/73/73 :<

It *might* be a random selection of any craft over 70 each time you delevel .1 but I am not sure. Is your smithing 104 yet? Personally, I'd continue to skill smithing and see what happens with subs.

FFXIclopedia has sun waters capping at alchemy 100, whereas BGWiki states the cap is 102, could someone confirm for me please?

Does mega moglification help with loss on break or just gives +5 skill?

The old school of thought was the 150k GP item would give the MH +1, while the 200k Signboard would give the bonus to decreasing loss of break. Now, with stall and mega mog I literally have no clue... Originally Posted by macross

anyone with any experience break synthing silver cassandras or cursed helms( the 97 synth).
wonder if mega mog will work or should i just do fire .

After I got past that emo streak which I pissed away 3 mil in gil on 18 Thokcha ingots for 0 fucking gain...I wound up going through 21 ingots in 29 synths. I probably could have saved a lot of gil by synthing those axes, and trying for HQ, but at 300k per synth and a handful of thokcha ores getting to the AH daily, I'd probably still be camping the AH for Thokcha ores today with an inventory full of shitty axes that barely sell.
So yeah back to your question, try to wait for artisan advantage.

Did you 104 gs break synth the cassandras? Wonder how often you lose the o ingots.
