It is 105. It was confirmed here:

He provided me with a comprehensive list of recipes with his level 105 mule, and the jerkin showed up at the bottom. This means its 105 cap.

Thank you for confirming! Saves me a lot of hassle.
Are the augmented dark rings that drop in aby-highlands able to be de-synthed into orichalcum ingots?
Dark rings npc for 34476 each. Also it will take a bunch of thunder crystals so probably more like 75k if you could get that rate. But desynth is weird. While normal synth just cares if you are above or not desynth seems to care how much.
That said I only have much data for stuff I was T1 and never used mog desynth so maybe. Time and how much money you could make will be a factor but then if you need them and none on oh well... could you keep track of your results?
Stupid double
What are all the crafting foods. Rumor or otherwise. And much testing done on them?
i have about 75% return desynthing dark rings, it's way higher that 1 ingot per 2 rings hehe. Heck you can get 2 ingots from one desynth.
Following up on the Bonecraft question, but I realized I don't much in the way of points. Does:
Boneworker's Tools (+1, KI: Mogification)
Drogaroga's Fang (+1, KI: Mogification)
Boneworker's Sign (+1, KI: Mogification)
stack with Boneworker's Stall (+5, KI: Mega Mogification) for a total of +8 or do I need the previous items + the stall to get the +5? I tried looking up on BGwiki and that thread linked to me early, but it hasn't been updated since the raise beyond 100 cap. I couldn't really get a clear sense of how the enhancement worked, if the +1s from the first three items were because of Mogification, so it was only +1 no matter if I had all three, or if it was +1 for each, etc.
Trying to minimize the amount of time needed for stocking piling points so I'm trying to trim away any fat if possible.
All that was before cap raise so doesn't need to be updated. Regardless stall is all you need. Anything else on top of it does nothing
That's awesome, then I really don't need to bother turning points in at all I guess except just to have pieces for display.
You've got a nice easy road to start up through 79, too. Tigerfangs, tigerfangs all day every day. Just park yourself someplace with scorpions and a few stacks of fangs/carbon fiber and spit em out till you cap. Vendor for about 3700g or so, IIRC, assuming the local PUP doesn't need them for a quest. I'd schlep you over a ton of carbon fiber except -someone- decided to server transfer.... ^ ^
When you get decently near 81-82, just mow down worms for Ascetic's/Hermit's Rings, although the number of worms that drop the ring now in Dangruf is incredibly small now, thanks to the dungeon changes. Just one room of 6 or so spawning every 5 minutes.
Personally I did reraise hairpins to 80 (although you said you wanted to cut down on guild points, and it does require a KI), since it paid for itself x2, then find an alchemist and do dragon masks to 87...alchemist will buy them from you at cost most likely, maybe even at a profit.
I however, loathe non-stackable skillup items, especially since bonecraft was a mule and I couldn't craft in the field.....
Alchemists can't use dragon masks, but they can use the other dragon gear.
Ah, weird. I was confusing it with the Dragon synth itself. Other pieces of Dragon armor require the corresponding piece of Leather armor, but Mask is just sheep leather. That said, if you have an alchemy buddy then they'll probably want to spread it around to the different pieces or they'll end up with 10,000 mask -1s they can't sell.
