We could've had it down by now but most people don't have the patience to do a few thousand side by side synths or have other things to do like play the game lol

This has probably been asked and answered before, and if so, apologies. Anyway, was it ever confirmed how much skill + stalls give? I've read it's 5, but I also read you need the signboard and the 150k item for it for that total. I have mega moglification: clothcraft with just the stall. I never bothered to get the guilt tapestry or the signboard and I'm wondering if they stack with the stall or if they're now useless. I guess what I'm really asking is, how much skill + can you get total in one craft from furniture?

5, and you only need the stall to get it. The only reason to buy the others is to make sure that if SE ever changes this you will still have all the furnishings.

Please forgive my complete noobness here, and I feel as though I already know the answer but...

Gear and Stall is +7. If I am at 90 skilling to 94, Gear&Stall put me at 97 trying to get skillups on a 94 recipe? Or do I get skillups as though I were 90 going for 94?

My question is - Does +skill items affect skill-up rate?

There is no evidence that it affects skillup rate at all, so you should always try to Tier 0 (skill level or above) synth once you get up that high if the skillup synth has a valuable HQ. If you have Gear+Stall+Torque+Support (+12 skill) then you can Tier 1 skill on a skillup synth that is one level above you.

You get skill ups as normal.

Thank you both! Eyeballing, I went 4/32 on skill ups with all the + available to me, then took everything off and went 7/10 (go figure...)

And I'm Cloth, so no Tier1 skilling up for me I'm afraid :<

What is the maximum effective skill you can possibly have for Bonecraft? 110 skill + 5 Mega Moglification + 1 Specs + 1 Apron/Smock + 2 Torque + 3 Support = 122? Or am I missing anything?

Do I need any GP items for smithing/goldsmithing/clothcraft in order to T1 synths for leather 100+? or would getting to 70 be enough?

How necessary are those subcrafts? I'm working on Shawl before I get too deep into anything

Any synth that has a subcraft of 60 would require at least 70 +1 from either GP item/torque/support/etc in order to T1. I'm not certain about leather specifically, but I'm fairly certain most hexed synths have one 60 sub.
