Keyloggers are amazing for this shit. Many a time have caught people doing random shit on my comp like reading my emails when I'm at work or away in the past. Even so, I helped a married friend find out her husband (works both ways!) was cheating with this.

They are definitely handy. Fortunately I hadn't messed around with then since college but man on man, the wicked shit you can do with those are funny. I've busted people (friends of my then roommate) going through my PC, reading my emails etc... only to have me log the strokes and log into their accounts and embarrass them to their friends and family.

There are definitely some good ones out there. They are a very underutilized resource when facing questionable paternity or general shady dealings.
