This is blindingly obvious from the trailer - did you just guess or have you actually read the book.

If it's not the case I'd be wildly surprised, but if the whole movie builds up to this terribly obvious twist...well...no wonder it's being released in the middle of fucking February - also known as "the movie graveyard".

And that is why I liked Cloverfield, but apparently noone else liked it. Keeping something a mystery was truly nice and I liked the way it was told. Meh. I have high hopes for this movie simply because of leonardo.
