That's a very good point, I find when my fundage is getting low I tend to go grinding. It's great that you get that two for one deal.
I concur. Plus getting drops for your main and alts at the same time round off to a very productive experience. FF really only rewarded your efforts with decent items if it was an NM you were fighting.
So far, coming from FFXI, this game has been extremely user friendly. Sometimes it seems that most things are handed down to me on a silver platter. It's a refreshing change. However, one thing drives me bonkers and that's the chat box background. The game has been out for over a year and they have yet to do anything to it, and it would seem that they will not do anything to it in the future. Why is this?
I miss a lot of legion chat simply because I can't see shit. I roll a ranger and most of the time, I am kiting so I don't have the luxury to turn my camera around to see chat. Additionally, people in groups seem to completely miss party chat. You could be saying something 10 times and maybe one or two attentive people will see it. I strongly think it has to do with the transparent background.
Otherwise, NCS has been really good at fixing game problems. I've seen drastic improvements from log in queues to RMT spam. They keep getting better, I just hope they are more expedient with this chat background -_-
Mist Mane grinding has given me that nostalgic FFXI feeling, I remember back in the day I use to always hit up White Mages for EXP, today I whispered every cleric online to make the 6th for our party. Grinded up until about 25 hairs with 3 bars of EXP and some nice loot to sell, after I get off work I am going to start all over again.. for those pretty boots.
To make up for the fact I can't farm Krall Molars solo, I've been farming Lepharist Insignia and AHing them since I'm done with the quests for the Necklace/Earring/Ring. If I'm lucky I can get even trades or even a small profit, but I'm more than willing to take a small loss to avoid the hell of farming hundreds with a group that may or may not be intelligent.
In theory, I could probably make more grinding something if drops cooperate, but this is more or less a guarantee compared to nights where I've gone 8 hours of killing things without a single white.
