can we ever expect it to taper off? one would think the point of discontinuing regular play is so that it doesn't dominate your time, topics of conversation, etc. and yet here it is, and there you are, and here i am, and you're standing over there, and i don't know which way is up

I discontinued regular play because no one in richmond plays, there was no actual purpose behind it. It's possible, not really probable though.

I stopped playing competitively, that doesnt mean I never played the game with friends. Aside from here (where a large part of it has to do with knowing it ticks certain people off, considering people bitched about it when I stopped posting them for a good 2-3 months) it doesnt really come up between myself and anyone who doesn't play,

Not to say that it isn't a decently easy conclusion to reach but I understand that people think it controls every aspect of everything I do, such isnt really the case. Granted I'll be the first to admit that I don't do THAT much else but unless I'm otherwise bored or another player is around I do talk about other things.

It wasn't to say I didn't understand why it came up, but people can't expect someone who regularly antagonizes people to not do so when they give it away that something bugs them.
