aww but a model change is easy, you just copy paste 1 file over and done.. and its permanent till you remove the file.
The above is only temporary, i think if you change instances/use noggen fogger or similar effect you lose that change you did shown above.

Nah, only if you get hexed/poly'd/use some kind of costume will it remove the change.

So it's just a dat mod lol? I think the idea of race change is to change into the race that is superior for your class.

Race doesn't matter much, but you can't deny Orcs are superior Death Knights (free AP trinket, 5% pet dmg, axe expertise). Orcs are the only extreme example I can think of; pre-3.2, I think the math had shown that being an Orc effectively added 180~ DPS as Unholy.

Orcs are pretty good hunters too I think, and Enhance shamans.

Yeah anything physical damage I'd say, DK just came first since they use Axes + pets! awwwyeah

And tauren are the best choice for every tank, and blood elf are badass for pvp, as are tauren and undead, and heroic presence is amazing, and...
etc. etc.
Racials are a pretty big deal still, even with the continued nerfs to just about all of em.
Also, regenning 2 health every 5 seconds and nothing you can do about it.

and... as mentioned if you just want to look different its as easy as copy/paste 1 file into your dat folder (you don't even overwrite anything, or require backing up anything , or special software)... 2 step process!

yeah you're right i really wish that i wasn't a draenei. i don't want 1% hit and extra hot/heal. it's not helpful at all.
oh i guess humans dont need that extra trinket slot in pvp

stuff like "chest bounce mod" and "clothes alterations" require a "third party program" to do.
But a simple race change/nude mod is just like a wow "patch file" in the data folder, doesn't overwrite any other files, doesn't require you to run anything extra or change any game settings.
I've been using the same nude mod since the release of Black Temple in TBC, and it still works as of today.
