You'd be hard pressed to argue interfering with a gangrape or calling the cops would make things worse.

If there is no one around, and you think you can save them without dying, you should.

If there is anyone around, you should call for help and NOT obstruct people who are more qualified.

It varies from state to state. Some states only have the good Samaritan laws for doctors etc, and some include both doctors and regular citizens.

Well to be fair archi, she was probably caked out of her mind from alchohol and/or other drugs. Being passed out doesnt mean much. For all intents and purposes she could have just been in a gang bang (willingly) and after everyone was done the authorities called it rape (which was fine by her).
