daylight +movement for NIN closed a pretty large gap between the two jobs imo.

can you believe that nin will be able to have 33% movement speed up at night! holy CRAP!
Why do people keep saying they want to do -4% physical for paladin when you can already get -3% for relatively cheap off the AH.
The only stat on this that's really really worth getting for paladin is the 5% cure potency. The second stat is almost irrelevant, just like with the body the fast cast was the important stat. All the other stats are either side-grades or the very barest of improvement.
Cure potency and -physical damage for mages, and movement speed for jobs without any will be what this expansion is remembered for. The melee options seem well......crappy except for ranger.
figure, till i regain the homam legs, ill fo the HP+ ENM+ Haste+ for legs.
Once i get the homam legs itll be +movement and -PDT till i regain Wlegs.
hahaha lesigh...
Skipped buying MKD, but I really can't pass up movement speed for RDM SMN BRD...Just gonna get me the +8 speed pants and some other augment, probably -pdt, and hope that someday wlegs will drop for me. At that point I might re-do ASA for different pants, but for now movement speed wins.
Likewise, in before we see MNKs making Ghetto Haidate get flamed for not wanting to put up with all the bullshit associated with Sky.
To ward off idiots who can't read: I'm not saying Ghetto Haidate is the better choice if you can obtain Byakko's. Obviously, 5% haste > 3%. However, if you're like me and were only able to get Shura before the linkshell broke, $10 to settle for a slightly inferior option and not have to start the haidate list climb again is a very appealing option.
Sky is not difficult. Byakko is not difficult. A group of 4(any jobs) can easily farm a byakko set and a competent group of 6 can easily kill Byakko. Fuck sky linkshells, get a few friends to help out. I'll even help with byakko itself if you provide pops(I'm on your server, pretty sure you know my name but if not can send PM if interested).
I'm calling bullshit on this. 6 people? With the way he spams para? Yeah, fuck no. I've seen him drop some fairly decent PLD awfully quick. Not everyone has an Aegis or Yagrush you know.
Also, for the Ghetto Kitty pants... assuming you have BB, you could still get 23% haste and have the +5 kicks... that's pretty damned sweet if you're soloing. The 2% difference won't even factor in until you start stacking on loads of haste (march) at which point yes, that 2% difference will grow into a wider and wider disparity.
A) Byakko has no regain. He doesn't spam shit unless you have 10 melee hitting him.
B) Your definition of fairly decent severely varies from mine apparently, that aside a NIN/DRK or DRK/NIN will always be a better byakko tank than a PLD anyway.
C) You're retarded. 23-25 haste will ALWAYS beat 5 kicks on a decently geared mnk, buffs or otherwise. You can only kick once per attack round, not once per attack, which severely diminishes the value of kick attacks.

Sup.
Edit: Also, what's the point of telling people what the best augments are... Some people wanna just play the game the way they want to play it. If you foresee that what they choose to augment will be rather pitiful considering the other options that are viable to them, who are you to judge them on what they want? It's not like you personally have to redo the last mission and it's pre-req's if you want to change the stats later on to correct an error. These Augments are about variety, and it takes the fun away from it by telling people what they should get! When I got my Selenian cap, I went out and tested INT vs MAB on Blm and Sch to see which augment would be the best, but that's my own personal opinion. If I picked something retarded, then it's my choice and I'm the one that has to play with it. This elitistism is seriously off putting.
