Dark Poeta is a level 50 dungeon. This is a scripted event whereby the players must stop the Balaur from reopening a Dimension Door from the Abyss which would allow them to gain access to take over and destroy Poeta. To gain access to Dark Poeta, all players in the party must be in possession of a quest item in their inventory.

Dark Poeta can be entered interacting with the Artifact Device in the Black Tear Swamp of Interdiktah, or at Frostbrow Camp in Beluslan.

As players progress through the dungeon, points are awarded for killing various creatures, destroying objects, and harvesting special materials. The final boss's difficulty is determined by the number of points acquired. A higher number of points leads to a harder boss encounter. However, once the boss is killed, there is better loot if he was killed at a higher difficulty level.

Very little is known about this instance, so figured I'd post a few links to stuff I found. Rank is determined by time and amount of points (obtained by killing trash and bosses - don't know if points are based on speed of kill, ect...)

Here are a couple of SS's of a Korean group doing Dark Poeta, so while the exact match between completion time / points isn't known atm, least their SS's show what is needed for an "A" rank (and we can work from that).

Rank goes from S (best) - A - B - C - D (worst)

It goes on to explain what they did to beat him and what set up they had going.


Tahabeta is the end game boss that spawns when a team achieves S rank in the rated instance [Dark Poeta]


Abilities

Raging Strike - This is a 35m radius aoe attack that Tahabeta uses randomly at 5~10% health loss. 5000~7000 fire damage

Eruption of Strength - Starting at 55% health, Tahabeta will occasionally gain a buff that reflects 300% of all damage received while summoning several adds.

At 25~27% health, Tahabeta gains several more abilities.

Petrify Soul- renders everyone immobile within 15m radius of Tahabeta
Shatter Soul- inflicts double physical damage on a single petrified target (instant death)
Explosion of Rage - 20m radius aoe fear
Dragon's Breath - Tahabeta breaths fire while summoning 4 Dragoon adds

Actually, most Koreans do DP with melee like assassins, glad. They scale alot better in end game. D:

If anyone can read Korean heres a map of DP that i found. I assume the Red Squares are bosses that need to be killed.

Kinda updating a guide to getting started this place with my group by just reading through badly translated korean pages. But seems like there is a definite way of getting an A-S rank for the last boss, however i think in my group we will be farming the bosses in there before even attempting the last.

Here is a SS of a korean grp fighting the A rank boss. In the upper right corner you can see their time and total points. So this gives you an idea of what you need to aim for.

Unless they were playing around with models, that's not the Tahabata Pyrelord, it's the Calindi Flamelord, the A rank boss. The Pyrelord has 3 heads and is white.

Hate to necrobump, but isn`t there a way to enter from the core using only 5 blue balaur scales that requires changing the game client to another language? Was looking for how to do this, specifically the way that doesn`t require downloading anything, I think you just remove something and it goes to korean? Anyone know what I`m talking about? lol

Pretty sure you switch the client to German, but I haven't done it yet.

You need to switch client language to french/german via the launcher - does require a small download but it's all done by the official launcher.

You have to enter from the core? Thought it was the same npc, just after the first time it's only 5 scales afterwards..

You can enter from the core, or from the regular entry point.

5 balaur scale offer is only available from the core NPC, but you can return and enter via the normal artifact.

You have to pay 20 scales on your first entry. After that, you can get your Time Activation Stone from either the normal NPC in Heiron/Beluslan for 20 scales, or you can change language packs, take a trip to the core, and pay only 5 scales to the Shugo there (both NPCs require the 180k Essence of Time and Space thing).

The Artifact next to the Shugo can be used to enter Dark Poeta, too.
