It's not often I completely agree with Deejay, but this is one of those instances. I think I like Houston a bit more than he does, but meh, won't matter in the end, they're probably not even a wildcard team.

Yeah, I hate going into predictions at the start of the year, and even in week 8. I agree with Deejay here too, pretty much. I mentioned loving Harvin, but obviously having a QB like Favre there.. well it really helps him and every other mediocre guy on the team.

As far as Houston, they're done. You don't lose a stud TE like that and expect to continue on with success. Hoorah. They beat Buffalo's ass. Big deal. Same with Denver. Okay, so they won some good games early on, but I dunno. Orton's a game manager (soryr Miz) and their running game is still meh. Don't be fooled.

New England's good as always. They just took some time for Brady to get into his groove. Remember it took Manning a while too last year and he didn't have *serious* knee surgery. New Orleans is good, and we'll see how good tonight. I don't think Atlanta has a shot, and that's probably why they'll pull out a win.

The Giants are in shambles because they have an injury riddled team. Do I think they can make a come back? Sure. Can't trust the Eagles to play well all year, and can't trust the Cowboys once they get in the stretch run. Congrats, they beat a Wild Card Falcons team and a Seahawks team, both at home. Bravo.

i said at beginning of year favre was gonna rape shit and nobody listened.
vikings were my preseason fav(re) and I'm sticking with them!

if brady can pull his shit together I like the pats to make a SB run too.

favre - brady SB makes my anus wet

favre peyton would be epic- a "for the ages" matchup. Like what the Montana/Marino game could have been.

As for my post on the teams, I'm not really making predictions, just kind of sorting out the teams thus far. Obviously things happen. Personally I have a question as to what favre will do late in the year- will he hold up etc and I think the Giants have a lot of potential so it will be interesting to see how they will do down the stretch. We'll have to wait and see, obviously but by this point in the season we've kind of seen that some teams are really good, some are really bad, and some are wildly inconsistent.

Every year there is one team that starts slow and catches fire late and misses the playoffs (and most teams are happy because no one wants to play them lol). Wonder who it will be this year.

I'm just so surprised people are leaving out the steelers. They are still a damn good football team. I am not sold on the colts, they have played the easiest schedule so far and yet peyton still has to throw 40+ times a game.

Eagles have a shitload of potential as long as mcnabb doesn't have more inconsistent games like oakland. Vikings are pretty damn solid for reasons known.

    Chris Carter said it best:

Greeny: "I think if you switch qb's, you get the same result."

CC: "No, if you switch qb's, the Packers lose a lot worse."

agreed. favre is doing better than expected but the receivers are doing a lot of the work on his TD's berrian and harvin both showed that yesterday, rice has shown it multiple times this year

if running in straight lines and catching jump balls is a lot, then yeah the receivers are working their asses off

Not to mention having AP to toss to on screen/swing routes helps a shit-ton too.

I'm trying to put together a list of shitty over-valued Texas talent that Jerry has acquired over the past couple years.

The biggest shit hole I've got is Roy Williams. I need you guys to throw me some names so I can see if I missed anyone.
