Except for the entire point of the Vikings bringing Farve on was not for his athleticism or arm, but was for his experience and ability to pick up the blitz and get the defense off sides with snap counts. If they needed a QB that could scramble and throw the long bomb Tarvaris Jackson would still be the starting QB in Minnesota.

Rodgers is an excellent Franchise QB and fits the Packers needs well.

im not disagreeing with anything here, i just think that aaron rodgers is the better qb. brad johnson and trent dilfer both won superbowls playing the way the vikes use favre, that doesnt mean they were better than young stars in the league at the time.
