Wrong. The QB is doing his job in Green Bay. Any time your QB throws for 225+/3TD+/0INT you should win the game. If you are losing, then:
(In order)
1. Coaching needs to improve
2. Defense needs to improve
3. Special teams need to improve
A better Oline will surely help things (tremendously, for any team), but Rodgers shouldn't have to throw 5 TD a game to win shootouts. The bandage should be placed on another part of the team. A strong blocking TE could help them as well.
Wow. Looking at the break down, they're playing really well in all 3 aspects of the game. Offense, defense, special teams.
They're falling short at clutch moments though. The coaching does stand to improve some as well. A little more ground and pound to get better clock management would do them some good instead of having nearly 50/50 on possession.
Better coaching would lead to the offense not having to drive at the end of the game with 1:15 left EVERY single week for a win when they already have 24+ points....
Mike is a joke imo and I don't know how it doesn't get more pub on how awful he is...
Take every coach in the league minus Chilly/Zorn and Mike is at or damn near the bottom of the list. I would rather have Norv Turner...if that clears up my feelings on MM. His "my way or the highway" attitude has really retarded some talent on that team.
Yeah. I really feel kinda' sad for them now looking at the stats, lol. On paper they should be contenders this year.
Did my real Pro Bowl ballot today, thinking of making another joke one to send in. QBs will be Clutch/Josh Johnson/Romo/Russell/Anderson/write-in J.P. Losman.
Pro-bowl write-in for the AFC: Danny Weurfel
Pro-bowl write-in for the NFC: Jeff George
Edit - 99% chance I goof'd Danny's name
lol... on ESPN they just did a comparison of the NY teams and the title was Empire State of Decline.
rofl.
I really can't stop going "wtf," at the Giants. The Eagles are just being the Eagles, but I really didn't expect the Giants to flop around like this...crazy shit.
At least you guys have baseball this year. All I have to look forward to if the Phils lose tonight is the Eagles' annual NFC Championship loss.
*cringe*
I fucking hate the Yankees. Braves4lifeyo.
And holy lol I just read on NFL.com that clutch got the game ball.

FUCK! No chance of him getting benched this season anymore apparently.
When you can do this, why in the fuck do we have 2 games with over 40 passing attempts and 1 @30+?The Panthers ran it right at the Cardinals' then-No. 1 ranked rushing defense. They ran it at eight-man fronts. They ran it on normal passing downs. They ran it so much (44 rushes to 15 passes) that Delhomme and Moore did not complete a single pass in the second half.
The entire Panthers offense last year consisted of "8 in the box? Good luck chumps." *runs it down your throat* When we keep passes to less than 20 attempts, we usually win.
It's a shame our coaching staff apparently has dick for a memory this year. $5 says they toss it up 35 fucking times next week.
It's a good thing I naturally have insanely low blood pressure or I might have popped something reading that.
Fuck yeah for the embattled quarterback!
Really though, I'm glad you guys beat Arizona. Now its back to cheering for more pass plays for that warrior in the pocket.
No.
Grant is not "a hell of a RB". He's mediocre. He's NOT a feature back. He had a good half of ONE season (while the offense was basically 4-5 WR sets every play and teams had to play pass constantly.)
Here is an excellent post describing Grant - he gets worse as the game goes on, he gets worse the more carries he gets. He should be part of a RB tandem or committee, GB is completely mis-using him.
Why Ryan Grant Isn't TheAnswer - Acme Packing Company
This is why a lot of packer fans were hoping and praying they'd pull off a trade for Steven Jackson before the deadline...goddamnit that guy is good.
grant looked awesome in the preseason!
